Guest Heart Thursday #51

,
Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

When Rachel over at "Art+Food+Friends" visited the Denver Art Museum, she found many fun and beautiful things. But the most wonderful of all (in MY opinion!) was Mary's stunningly creative heart ... at the interactive light display!

Thank you, Rachel (and Mary!), for sharing your heart!

This beautiful hanging moss heart is very special to me ... Lois over at "Tallahassee Daily Photo" posted it ... a long time ago. This is how I met her!

Lois is part of the "City Daily Photo" group that is so much fun - and I appreciate her so much!

Thank you, Lois, for sharing your heart ...
Which led me to you!

Back before Guest Heart Thursday, my sister Beth and I had a friendly challenge ... involving hearts of course!

Beth had gone to the beach, and look at the, um "interesting" heart photo she brought back for me.

Elk dung!
Gee thanks, Beth!

You can check out Beth's amazing artwork at "Beth's Artworx" ... and her stunning photography at "Expect the Unexpected".

Thank you, sissie, for sharing your heart - ALWAYS!

Dani is my soul sister.
After all, how many people can boil something in a pot ... and find a heart!
Dani is a wonderful friend and fellow heart-seeker, and you can find her (aside from going to China where she is living now!) over at her blogs ... "Snow Flowers" and "A Lovely Home For Hearts"!

Thank you, Dani, for being my friend, for your inspiration, and for sharing your hearts!

Jill is an amazing photographer ... with the best job in the world! To find out what she gets to do every day, check out her blog "Count Your Chicken! We're Taking Over!"

I'll give you a hint ... it involves critters. Like these cute little marbled salamanders - who together make an adorable heart.

Thank you, Jill, for sharing your beautiful world ... and your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Mailing Package Heart

Dad is getting harder and harder to clean up after.
He tends to throw things on the floor instead of in the trash.
After all, he's 85, and it's getting harder and harder for him to get around.

He gets his medicine through the mail.
This package came last week.

I found it ripped open and dropped on the floor ... but how could I not smile ...
At the heart!

Guest Heart Thursday #50

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

My lovely nieces Jenna and Tiffi spent a few days of their Spring Break here at the house. Much fun was had!

I was awed when both of them started showing me the hearts they found ... right here. Hearts I live with, but didn't even see!!!

Like this old broken and rusty chainsaw chain that was left on the fireplace.

Thank you, Tiffi and Jenna, for sharing your hearts.
Thank you Tiffi for finding this one!

"Halcyon Travels" is an amazing place where Halcyon posts pictures taken from travels around the globe.

Recently, Halcyon posted this delicate and beautiful white orchid.
Do you see the beautiful green pastel hearts?

Thank you, Halcyon, for sharing your travels ... and your hearts!

Dani is one of my adopted 'sisters-of-different-mothers'. We will probably never meet in person, but I still consider her part of my family!

Dani is from Macedonia, but is living and going to school in China. She has two blogs, "Snow Flowers" and "A Lovely Home for Hearts" ... and my day just isn't the same unless she posts one of her beautiful found hearts, or one of her gorgeous photographs.

Thank you, Dani, for being a wonderful friend ... and for sharing your hearts!

Bhavesh Chhatbar is from India, and takes some of the most amazing photos for his "BLOG". He has taught me so much about the beauty, color and history of his country. His wife, Megha, is a gifted artist, and puts into her art the same magic of India that Bhavesh puts into his photos.

Bhavesh holds a special place in my heart ... his was my first posted guest heart ... and was the inspiration for Guest Heart Thursday!

Thank you, Bhavesh and Megha, for sharing your world ... and your hearts!

Sunny over at "Barnyards and Barnacles" is another of my favorite places to visit. Sunny's gifted photography and wry humor bring smiles to my heart.

Do you see the heart(s) on this adorable cow? (Only Sunny could make COWS look ADORABLE!)

Thank you, Sunny, for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Snowy Fern Heart

Our unusually mild and wet winter yielded only one snowfall. It was in February, and our world was covered with about half an inch of snow.

Which was enough to bring out this last-year's-fern heart!

Birds Make Heart!

I was wandering along the pathway in the new wetlands/green space/park property down the road, when I spied a bird condo.

I think I really like that bird that made the heart-shaped doorway!
What a nice way to pretty up the place!

Guest Heart Thursday #49

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

One of my favorite places to visit is Inger-M's "A Picture in Time".
Inger is from beautiful Norway, and her blog is filled with pictures that make me smile, and make me long for the country ...

When you visit her blog, be sure to click on her "My Jewelry" tab.
When you see what she creates, you will know you are in the presence of a truly great artist.

Inger posted this picture (and others!) as part of a Psalm Challenge. I had to gasp when I saw this cloud ... a beautiful heart surrounded by molten gold ...

Thank you, Inger, for sharing your heart!

Gemma over at "Greyscale Territory" is another amazing blogger. Gemma is from Australia, and posts wonderful and amazing photos from her country.

But my favorite thing about Gemma's blog are her Haiku's.
She is AMAZING!

Thank you, Gemma, for sharing your world, your Haiku's, and your heart!

Winter is finally starting to break up in Judy's world. Soon she will be posting more of the flowery beauty she finds in her world, and posts on her wonderful blog "Lilac Gate".

But even though spring is just now starting to peek through, Judy's world is still cold. But look - she found this cracked ice heart!

Thank you Judy, for sharing the beauty you find, and for sharing your heart!

Costas over at "Nature Digital" takes the most amazing photos of Greece.

Costas recently took a vacation, and has been sharing photos of his trip.
When I told him about a heart I found in one of his Las Vegas photos, he said he couldn't find it.
Can you?

How about now?

Thank you, Costas, for sharing so much beauty with the world ... and for sharing your heart!

Our hearts are with the people of Japan ...
Who are suffering so much right now.
This photo, published by Reuters last Saturday, shows just a tiny piece of the tragedy enfolding our brothers and sisters of that country.

If you look in the smoke, you will find a heart. One that is breaking.

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

LEC Heart

When the church abandoned the property across the street, they left a barn-sized outbuilding full of trash ... mountains and mountains of trash. It took the new owners a week to clean it out with a backhoe and 2 dumpsters.

When they were gone, Sissie and I walked by to marvel ... and found this dropped and forgotten heart.

Orange Peel Heart

I was waiting for mom outside the doctor's office ...
With only a few minutes to go ...
Which turned out to be just enough time ...
To take a short walk,
And find a heart!

Guest Heart Thursday #47

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday
A place to share YOUR heart!

When Texwisgirl sent me a link to Becky and Gary over at "Woodynook Creations", I could hardly believe my eyes ... Do you see what I see?
Lots and lots of hearts on this beautiful starling they posted for World Bird Wednesday last week!

Thank you Becky and Gary for sharing your hearts,
And thank YOU Texwisgirl for finding them!

Jill's photos always make me smile, especially this one.
A tiny critter had trudged through the sand, leaving it's heart behind!

Thank you, Jill, for sharing your heart ... and for having one of the most unique blog names around - "Count Your Chicken! We're Taking Over!"

Sunny over at "Barnyard and Barnacles" makes me smile with every post. She leads a busy life, and has been looking for hearts for a while.

I have a surprise for Sunny ... there are hearts in unexpected places ... if you look close enough!
Do you see the hearts in Sunny's picture?
Check the wing of the bee ...
And the petals of the flower ...
They may be faint, but they are there!!!

Thank you, Sunny, for brightening my days, and for sharing your heart!

Tammie Lee's photography is some of the best I've ever seen. Her blog "Spirithelpers" combines this photography with poetry that makes me smile ... and sometimes even brings me to tears. I appreciate her so much!

You don't have to look very hard to find the heart in this shot, but it may take you a while simply because you will probably become lost in the rugged beauty of this mountain!

Thank you, Tammie Lee, for sharing your heart!

Tammie Lee has another side ... we know she is a wonderful photographer, and a gifted writer ... well she is also an amazing ARTIST!!!

Check out Tammie Lee's art at her blog "Beauty Flows".
Because beauty DOES flow here, you will see!

Thank you, Tammie Lee, for sharing your heart!

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!
