Guest Heart Thursday #112

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday ...
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

Well, Brianne has done it again - I SO fell in love with these hearts she found last week - and I hope she knows how much I look forward to the hearts she finds in her world!!!

Brianne's wonderful photos (I love seeing the world through her eyes!) can be found over at her blog, "This Is My Offering ..."

Thank you, Brianne, for sharing your heart!

If you haven't visited "Judy Grupp Studio", then you are missing out on the chance to see a truly gifted artist in action!

I am in awe of Judy's artwork ... I can't describe it here ... you'll just have to visit her to know what I mean!

Thank you, Judy, for sharing your heart!

I love it when Costas publishes a random heart ...
Because it gives me the opportunity to share his outstanding and magical photos!

When you visit "Nature Digital", be sure to enlarge the photos ... you will be amazed at how a seemingly ordinary photo becomes pure magic up close. I'm not quite sure how Costas does that - but I love it!

Thank you, Costas, for sharing your heart!

Once again I just had to feature JM's work ...
Because I fell in love with the hearts on this view!
You can find JM over at "Oeiras and Environs Daily Photo" ... but be prepared to spend a lot of time looking back through his amazing blog!

Thank you again, JM, for sharing your heart!

Beth has been busy lately ... finishing up a commissioned work ... which she hasn't shared with us yet. But we are Waiting ... PATIENTLY (yeah right!) ...

I miss Beth when she's not posting to her blogs; but you can get caught up with her awesome artwork by visiting "Beth's Artworx". Because she will be back soon!!!

Thank you, sissie, for sharing you heart!

Guest Heart Thursday #111

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

Leovi stunned me last week with this gorgeous heart ...

But, then, Leovi's amazing art photos ALWAYS stun me!

Check it out by visiting Leovi's "Abstract Photos" - you will see what I mean!!!

Thank you, Leovi, for sharing your heart!

Have you ever visited Paris?
You have probably never seen it the way Owen does ...
Through his camera lens, the history of this beautiful city comes alive.
In a way you will ONLY see at Owen's "Magic Lantern Show"!

Thank you, Owen, for sharing your heart!

It has been nearly a year since Rachel has posted to her blog, "Art+Food+Friends" ...
I miss Rachel!
Her last post featured this beautiful collage she made.

Thank you, Rachel, for sharing your heart.
I hope someday you will update us on how your life is going!

When I think of Montana ... I think of majestic beauty.
I think of wildflowers and mountains.
And I think of Tammie Lee.

Tammie Lee's breathtaking photos are always accompanied by words that touch my heart, soul and spirit. Maybe that's why her blog, "Spirithelpers", is a place I love to visit when I need a haven of peace.

Thank you, Tammie Lee, for sharing your heart!

JM is part of the hugely popular "City Daily Photo" network of blogs.
"Oeiras and Environs Daily Photo" has introduced me to the amazingly beautiful country of Portugal. I feel like I've been there, even though I probably never will.

JM is not only an incredible photographer, but he finds the most amazing shots - he kind of reminds me of Owen that way!!!

Thank you, JM, for sharing your heart!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Chewing Gum Heart

I stopped at the grocery store for a few minutes, and look what I found in the parking lot when I came out!!!

I know it's kinda gross, but it's still a heart!!!

Needles and Hearts ...

I've been playing around with "altered clothing" ideas for a while ...

This morning it was a pair of old fleece pants that I was trying to remake into arm warmers for my daughter.

As I got ready to sew a new seam, I glanced down at the stray thread that had found its way onto the fabric ...

Wouldn't you know it? A perfect heart!

What Scared the Teenagers???

I was startled last night by screams coming from the (formerly) abandoned property across the street ... I went outside, only to hear a pair of young girls running as fast as they could down the parking lot, around the fence, and up the street (screaming the whole way). They were followed by a couple of guys, who kept calling at them, asking them to come back.

"It was probably just a bat you heard," one of them yelled.
To no avail ... the girls kept running, probably until they reached their car.

Was it a deer that scared the kids?
Or something else?

I went over this morning to investigate in the light of day ...
And heard sounds in the vents at the top of one of the rooms ...
scritch ... scratch ... scritch ... scratch ...

It was a baby owl - with a cute little heart-shaped face!
Actually there were at least two of them, but the others were camera shy.
This one just stood there and looked at me - its eyes glowing in the light. Each time it moved, its claws skittered across the metal of the vent.

It's just as well the teenagers ran away!

Guest Heart Thursday #110

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

I love how Beth sees the world ...

We found this interesting graffiti heart when we went for a walk over at "The Abandoned".
I've seen this heart many times ... I probably even have a picture of it in my files.

What Beth captured, however, is a different feeling than I saw ...
She saw this as a happy heart - taking flight!

Thank you, sissie-kins, for sharing your heart!

When I saw Brianne's nutty hearts over at "This is My Offering", I couldn't help but smile.
Because they are awesome ... and perfect ...
They show the beautiful and whimsical side of nature!

Thank you so much, Brianne, for sharing your heart!

Deann over at "The Whimsey Asylum" is a most amazing artist ...
Her (mostly) digital art is wonderful and quirky - you really have to look at each masterpiece she creates for a long time before you see everything she has included!

She is also a wonderful lady who is a good friend.

Thank you, Deann, for sharing your heart!

Another wonderful artist who has become a good friend is Darlene over at "A Dancing Mango".
She has been busy lately, following her heart ... and I've missed her!

Darlene posted this picture of her darling friend Izzie a while back ... complete with a heart hanging over her head!

Thank you, Darlene, for sharing your heart.
(P.S. - Welcome home!)

Beth and my little "Honey Heart" made me cry last week.
You see, each week they spend a day together, and go for a walk.
While they are walking, they search for hearts, which Beth posts on her blog "Expect the Unexpected".

Beth's description of how my precious niece found this sunshine heart brought a flow of tears.
I am humbled and honored.

Thank you, sissie and "Honey Heart" - for sharing your hearts!

Guest Heart Thursday #109

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

Susannah found one of my favorite flowers ...
Bleeding hearts!
If you haven't visited Susannah recently, you really should ...
You can find her at her blog ... "Wanderin' Weeta (With Waterfowl and Weeds)".

Susannah is one of the wonderful people who have inspired me, and made me see the world differently. She has taught me to look closely for the tiny beauty in the world. To flip over a rock and see what's under it ... I am never disappointed.

Thank you, Susannah, for sharing your heart!

Cheryl is another great inspiration in my life.
She hasn't posted to her blog, "Nostalgia: Today and Yesterday" for a while, because she is making a huge life change, and is very very busy.
But she wasn't too busy to find this "baby eagle poop heart" on a webcam she's following!!!

SOON Cheryl will have a lot of time on her hands (smile) and she will be back to blogging!
In the meantime, if you go to her blog and read some of her older posts, you will know why I still hang out there!!!

Thank you, Cheryl, for sharing your heart!

Carole found these cute yard decorations some time ago, and posted them to her blog, "Noteworthy Musings". I had to smile when I saw the delightful heart ... right there in front!

I hope you visit Carole - she's a lot of fun!

Thank you, Carole, for sharing your heart!

Another blog that holds a special place in MY heart is Teri and Gina's "Our Wild Hearts".
Mostly because, while Teri and Gina are sisters, they are separated by distance. But they don't let that distance separate their hearts ... they are linked by technology and the hunt for Wild Hearts.

Teri is an amazing photographer, and you can find her over at her blog, "Teri H Hoover Photography".

Thank you, Teri and Gina, for sharing your LOVE ... and your hearts!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Robin with Heart Leaf

This darling robin stood and stared at me for several minutes the other day ...
I think maybe it was trying to draw my attention to the heart-shaped ivy leaf above its right shoulder!

Guest Heart Thursday #108

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

**I apologize for not being around the past month or so ...
there is an explanation at the bottom of this post!

When I think of abstract hearts, I think of Leovi's "Abstract Photos".
Because while I don't always at first see a heart in Leovi's gorgeous art photos, but I ALWAYS see Leovi's HEART!

This is a part of what Guest Heart Thursday is all about ...
And I encourage YOU to look around to find the hearts hidden in your world ...
And also to share the hearts that don't show right away ...
The ones that point the way to your true heart and soul.

Thank you, Leovi, for sharing YOUR heart!

One of my favorite flowers is (go figure!) the bleeding heart. The one in our garden is in full bloom right now, and I treasure it!

But never have I seen one like Brianne posted on her amazingly inspirational blog "this is my offering ..." - it's WHITE!!! What a gorgeous treasure this is!!!

Thank you so much, Brianne, for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

**For the past month, I have had uncontrollable nosebleeds that have completely disrupted my life. Since I am on blood thinners after my heart attack last September, there was little I could do to stop them. I was unable to wander far from the house ... and I was tired all the time.
I saw a specialist this week, and had the problem area cauterized (ouch!). For two days now I have been free of nosebleeds, although I am still tiring out faster than usual.
Thank you all of my dear heart-friends and family for bearing with me ... for sharing your hearts ... for the beauty you bring to my world! I hope to be back in full force soon!!!
Heartfully yours - Clytie
