Guest Heart Thursday #148

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

You don't have to look hard to find the heart Cheryl saw in this shot.

But then Cheryl is someone who sees hearts even I don't notice!!!
I think it must be because she's so sweet - the hearts can't help but find her.
'Tis true!

Cheryl was absent from Blogland for a long time - but SHE'S BACK!

So go on over to "March to March" ... and welcome her home!

Thank you, Cheryl, for sharing your heart!

I've long admired "Johnny Nutcase" over at "Count Your Chicken! We're Taking Over!".
And not just because of the incredibly awesome name of her blog.

Oh no, that's just the beginning.
You see, "Johnny Nutcase" is in reality Jill of "Jill Wussow Photography".
Jill is a self-described "nomadic field biologist", whose photographs will take your breath away ... and whose job description will make you turn green with envy.

And she's cute and funny too!!!

P.S. - Do you see the heart in this baby bird shot? It's in the feathers right between the eyes of this adorable little guy!

Thank you, Jill, for sharing your heart!

This is another test. Do you see the heart in this shot?

Hint: If you follow the fence, just left of the 4th pole from the right ... there's a cute little seaweed heart!

But I bet you'd rather find out about "Finn McCool", right?

To do that, you need to head over to "Finn McCool's Country".
(That being Northern Ireland)

Finn will be offline for a while, but his blog is worth the visit!!

Thank you, Finn McCool, for sharing your heart!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!!!

Guest Heart Thursday #103

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

What more beautiful signs of spring than blossoms ...
Like these beautiful blossoms Debbie found and posted to her amazing blog, "It's All About Purple"!

I love how the top flower has two petals, backlit by the sun ... to form a beautiful glowing heart.

Thank you, Debbie, for sharing your heart!

Cheryl sent me this picture with the following explanation: "I am once again addicted to watching the eagles in Decorah, Iowa. Today the first pip was sighted. The moderators posted a photo from the webcam .... Look! The pip is heart-shaped! Is this extra amazing or what? If I had to guess, I'd say this is Mom with the eggs. She has a little bit of fine, black feathers on her head where Dad's head is completely snow white. Once the egg starts hatching, both mom and dad are on the nest to welcome their new little one. If you haven't checked out this site, HERE it is!"

Cheryl is near and dear to my heart ... she was the first follower (aside from Sissie, of course) on my first blog. She helped me through many confusing blogging situations!

Cheryl is on a hiatus from blogging for a while, but she promises to be back, hopefully this summer!!! You can visit her at "Nostalgia: Today and Yesterday" to see her past posts, and wait for her to return with new ones!

Thank you, Cheryl, for sharing your heart!

Kavita is from guwahati, assam, India ... and posts awesome pictures of the beauty she finds in her world. Best of all, she captures in words as well as pictures the traditions and history she shares ... on her blog "My Room"!

I don't think Kavita realized when she posted this darling pair of goats that she had captured a unique and precious heart ... check out that mommy's upper leg!!!

Thank you, Kavita, for sharing your beautiful country ... and your heart!

When Texwisgirl sent me this link to Suzanne's blog "Island Wonder", I had an enjoyable time just looking at beautiful Hawaii ... and being a bit envious!

Until I came to this gorgeous photo - that's when I stopped in amazement - at this perfect heart worn into the rocks by the passage of time and water!!!

Then I saw the next photo ... and it's one of the most beautifully romantic pictures I've seen in a long time ...

It's Suzanne's "Honey"!!!

Thank you Suzanne, for sharing your heart!
Thank you, Texwisgirl, for sending the link!

One world. One people. One heart.

Guest Heart Thursday #74

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

With just a few strokes of color on paper, Boki stole my heart with this beautiful drawing she has called "Love Confusion". This is not the first time Boki's drawings and photography have touched me - to see more, visit her over at "ninas y corazones" - you will be delighted!

Thank you, Boki, for touching my heart ... and for sharing yours!

I had to giggle when Cheryl posted this "rose heart in training" on her blog "March to March". It is a photo well named!

Cheryl has been a wonderful friend and inspiration to me. She has been here since I started blogging, and has helped me through good times and bad. I can't say how much I appreciate her!!!

Thank you, Cheryl, for being there, for inspiring me ... and for sharing your heart!

One of my favorite things to do is to find hearts in the posts of my friends ... hearts they don't see! When JM over at "Oeiras Daily Photo" posted this photo "Vertigo", I couldn't help but look for the hearts I knew I would find in this amazing shot ... Do you see any hearts here?
(hint: look just above the word "and" in the copyright watermark!)

If you haven't discovered JM's blog, you are missing out on some of the best photography I've seen in a long time. Every time JM posts, I am stunned at the beauty he finds ... and his unique point of view in which he shares it!!!

Thank you, JM, for sharing your beautiful Portugal ... and for sharing your heart!

When I got the e-mail from my friend Louis, I knew I would find a special heart attached. When I saw this astounding shot, I knew Louis had found a heart in a million!

So ... my imagination has added something new to Louis' paradise in "backwoods Southern California" ... I will now add the sound of a low note wind chime to the picture in my head of Louis kicking back on the deck, surrounded by the beauty of nature ... listening to the low beauty of the chimes ... Sigh ...

Thank you, Louis, for this beautiful vision ... and for sharing your heart!

Laura has posted this beautiful tree heart before ... and I have loved it each time I see it.
I hope someday you will meet Laura. She in every way inspires me, shames me, makes me look beyond myself, bring me to tears ... I am in awe of someone who can take their own pain ... face their own demons ... and still shine with faith and grace. That is Laura.

"Shine the Divine: Creativity IS a Spiritual Practice"

"It makes me wonder how much my slender body can hold, how big will my heart grow through the years, am I up to the tasks that life has in store for me, and will I be able to withstand the storms of living with a fraction of the grace this tree embodies? It is an awe inspiring mystery, discovering a tree that grew perfectly into a heart."

Thank you, Laura, for sharing your heart. Your whole heart.

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - a huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!
