Guest Heart Thursday #107

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

Each week I look forward to Dorothy's link to GHT ... I just know she will find an amazing heart or two to share on her blog, "Coffeedoff's CoffeeBreak"!

Last week, Dorothy stole MY heart with this beautiful swan heart postcard. I've never seen one more perfect!!!

Thank you, Dorothy, for sharing your heart!

When Diane sent me a link to her website, "Artworks by Diane", I was intrigued.
When I got there I was entranced!!!

I am in awe of artists of all kinds.
(Because we are ALL artists in our own way!)

But I am especially in awe of those who can take images from their imaginations and put them on canvas. And Diane is one such artist!

Thank you, Diane, for sharing your He'Art'!

If you need inspiration in your life, then you need look no further than Laura's blog, "Shine the Divine: Creativity is a Spiritual Practice" ...

Laura is an amazing lady ... who, even when facing severe health issues, still finds soul-healing strength to share. She has inspired me so much ...

Thank you, Laura, for the inspiration that you are ... and for sharing your heart!

I just had to giggle at this delightful heart shared by Maria on her blog "Aktuella bilder - Topical Snapshots". This post was a delightful step away from her usual photos ... which put Maria in my "amazing photographers" category!!!

Thank you, Maria, for making me smile ... and for sharing your heart!
Sissie sent me a link to a heart she found on her friend's blog; Ruthie's "5 Precious Things" ...
And thus I was introduced to another wonderful artist - Ruthie Redden.
I enjoyed Ruthie's beautiful photos - and amazing collages on her blog.
But then I found her website.
And her artwork.
Wow.
Thank you, Ruthie, for sharing your heart!
Thank you, Sissie, for sending me the link!
One world. One people. One heart.

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

Due to circumstances beyond my control ... this is a downsized version of Guest Heart Thursday! I can't wait to see the hearts you have found this week!!!

I fell in love with Pien Lintu's heart last week ...
After all, anyone who can knit or crochet already has my admiration!

She should add "heart seeker" and "artist" to that list!

Thank you, Pien Lintu, for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Don't Steal My Heart!

I've been watching this heart for a while now, expecting someone at the electric company to move it away from the road before I got a chance to get a shot ...

My chance came today, one of those rare occasions when I wasn't driving, and Sissie was happy to stop and let me get the shot! Thank you, Sissie-kins - for helping me capture this fenced in heart ... just in time for FRIDAY FENCES!!!

If YOU have found a heart, be sure to link up with "Guest Heart Thursday" ... the link is now open for the entire week!!!

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

I had to giggle at Debbie's story about the uncooperative goose ... it seems she was trying to take his portrait to post on her blog "It's All About Purple" ... but he kept turning his back to her.

Turns out it's because he wanted Debbie to see his heart!

Thank you, Debbie, for sharing your heart!

I'm still getting my fix of Florida sunshine over at Claire's "Tallahassee Daily Photos". Just look at this amazing postcard she found - the heart is beautiful - but isn't the message hysterical???

Thank you, Claire, for sharing your heart!

When my niece Tiffi visited us last year, she found this unusual heart ...
An old rusty chainsaw chain had been left on top of the fireplace ...
The funny thing is ... only Tiffi recognized the heart!

Thank you, dear Tiffani, for sharing your heart!

When I need some beauty and quiet time in my life, I head over to "Spirithelpers". I know that the beauty Tammie Lee finds will be sweetly echoed in the words she uses to describe her world ... Do you see the icy twig heart in this shot?

Thank you, Tammie Lee, for sharing your heart!

To see the delicate hearts in Tammie Lee's butterflies, you should enlarge this shot. There are tiny hearts everywhere!!!

Thank you, again, Tammie Lee - for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

Guest Heart Thursday #104

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

Don't you just love this adorable collage? It was created by Mock-Turtle and posted on her delightful blog "Jack's Paper Moon".

"I can sing a rainbow" is the perfect title for this post!

I wanted to include this wonderful collage ... because sometimes I forget ... some of the best Hearts are not Heart-shaped!

Thank you, Mock-Turtle, for sharing your true "Heart"!

Those of you who follow Lesley know about Wednesdays ...
That's the day Lesley hosts the fun meme "Signs, Signs"!
Last week, Lesley featured this awesome sign ... complete with hearts.

You can find Lesley over at "Signs, Signs", or "Southern Ontario, Discovered".

Thank you, Lesley, for hosting this wonderful meme ... and for sharing your heart!

When Inger posted this wave heart on her wonderful blog "A Picture in Time" - it made me gasp. Those of you who have been around a while know of my two great loves ... the ocean and hearts. Inger managed to combine both in one OUTSTANDING shot!!!

Thank you, Inger, for sharing your heart!

Isn't this one of the most fun hearts you've seen?
It's one Deb posted on her photo blog "The Clicks of My Shutter" ...
Can you tell what it is?
(Hint: It's the grille of a car!!!)

Thank you, Deb, for sharing your heart!

And look what Tina found ... a delightful feathery seed pod heart!
I love how the sunshine makes it glow!

Tina's blog, "PicStory", is one of my favorite visiting places ... it will become one of yours too!

Thank you, Tina, for sharing your heart!

Guest Heart Thursday #103

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

What more beautiful signs of spring than blossoms ...
Like these beautiful blossoms Debbie found and posted to her amazing blog, "It's All About Purple"!

I love how the top flower has two petals, backlit by the sun ... to form a beautiful glowing heart.

Thank you, Debbie, for sharing your heart!

Cheryl sent me this picture with the following explanation: "I am once again addicted to watching the eagles in Decorah, Iowa. Today the first pip was sighted. The moderators posted a photo from the webcam .... Look! The pip is heart-shaped! Is this extra amazing or what? If I had to guess, I'd say this is Mom with the eggs. She has a little bit of fine, black feathers on her head where Dad's head is completely snow white. Once the egg starts hatching, both mom and dad are on the nest to welcome their new little one. If you haven't checked out this site, HERE it is!"

Cheryl is near and dear to my heart ... she was the first follower (aside from Sissie, of course) on my first blog. She helped me through many confusing blogging situations!

Cheryl is on a hiatus from blogging for a while, but she promises to be back, hopefully this summer!!! You can visit her at "Nostalgia: Today and Yesterday" to see her past posts, and wait for her to return with new ones!

Thank you, Cheryl, for sharing your heart!

Kavita is from guwahati, assam, India ... and posts awesome pictures of the beauty she finds in her world. Best of all, she captures in words as well as pictures the traditions and history she shares ... on her blog "My Room"!

I don't think Kavita realized when she posted this darling pair of goats that she had captured a unique and precious heart ... check out that mommy's upper leg!!!

Thank you, Kavita, for sharing your beautiful country ... and your heart!

When Texwisgirl sent me this link to Suzanne's blog "Island Wonder", I had an enjoyable time just looking at beautiful Hawaii ... and being a bit envious!

Until I came to this gorgeous photo - that's when I stopped in amazement - at this perfect heart worn into the rocks by the passage of time and water!!!

Then I saw the next photo ... and it's one of the most beautifully romantic pictures I've seen in a long time ...

It's Suzanne's "Honey"!!!

Thank you Suzanne, for sharing your heart!
Thank you, Texwisgirl, for sending the link!

Surprise Snow ... and a Heart

Here in western Oregon we don't get much snow ... usually a flurry in December or January ... so last Wednesday's Springtime snow storm took us all by surprise!

It didn't last long, but it was a welcome change from the rain.

As the snow melted, I found this heart left behind.

Guest Heart Thursday #101

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

I introduced you to Owen last week ...
I hope you visited his wonderful blog "Magic Lantern Show (OR ... Mr. Toad's Travel Diary)"!
Owen posted this amazing Chinese lantern heart some time ago ... I rediscovered it as I was going through my Guest Heart file!

Thank you, Owen, for sharing your heart!

I love how Laura captured this sun-heart moment ...

Please keep Laura in your thoughts and prayers ... Laura has MS, and has been very ill.
Laura has been a HUGE inspiration to me through her blog "Shine The Divine: Creativity is a Spiritual Practice" - where I am humbled by the true beauty of her brightly shining soul - in spite of her devastating diagnosis.

((Please join me in a quiet moment of Love and Peace for Laura))

Thank you, Laura, for sharing your heart.

I hadn't heard from my heart-sister Dani in a while ...
It turns out she's busy back at school in China after her winter break in Macedonia.

This is a beautiful cloud heart Dani found last summer ... and you can see more of her amazing hearts by visiting "A Lovely Home for Hearts".

Dani posts pictures of her everyday life on "Snow Flowers".

Thank you, Dani, for sharing your heart!

When Lois over at "Tallahassee Daily Photo" went on hiatus, she urged us to check out a new kid on the "City Daily Photo" block ...

I would like to introduce you to Claire over at "Tallahassee Daily Photos"!!!
(Because I have to get my daily dose of warmth somewhere!!!)

I loved finding the cloud hearts in this picture Claire posted ...

Thank you, Claire, for sharing your hearts!

Theresa has been a friend of my sister's for years and years, but it was only last summer that I had the chance to get to know her ... and realize that we have A LOT in common!!!

Theresa found this delicate wildflower heart and sent it to Beth, who in turn sent it to me in an e-mail ... We have had no luck in identifying what kind of flower it is!

Thank you, Theresa, for sharing your friendship ... and your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

Guest Heart Thursday #100

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday ...
A place to share YOUR Heart!

(Check it out ... this is Week #100, can you believe it???!!!)

If I ever travel again to Paris, I will make it my mission to walk in some of the footsteps of Owen. Because if you want to see this magnificent city in a way few have, you need to go where Mr. Toad has trod!!! (I'll give you a hint ... this beautiful heart shaped lichen was found in a most unusual spot!!!)

I have been following Owen's blog, "Magic Lantern Show (OR ... Mr. Toad's Travel Diary)" for a long time now, and I look forward to each of his wonderful posts.

Thank you, Owen, for sharing your heart!

Diane has done it again ... she's found delightful hearts in her amazing desert world!
Someday I will visit the desert, because thanks to Diane, I now know what amazing and beautiful places they are.
You can see the soul of Diane's world over at "Simply This". If you're looking for the beauty of the desert, you'll find it over at "Desert Colors".

Thank you, Diane, for sharing your heart!

Pam didn't know she was seeing hearts when she found this beautiful peacock!
Pam lives on the opposite side of the USA from where I live, in a totally different world.
I love to visit her world, "Whims n Whispers" ... when I need a dose of beauty and serenity, I know I can find it here.

Thank you, Pam, for sharing your heart!

Guest Heart Thursday #99

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Susannah spends a lot of time at the beach ... where she found this amazing heart (hermit crab)!
She posts her finds on her blog "Wanderin' Weeta (With Waterfowl and Weeds)".
Susannah is high on the list of those who have inspired me ... she has taught me to look at the tiny beauty in the world ... to flip a stone and see what's underneath ... to pay attention to my world and do what I can to help nature survive.

Thank you, Susannah, for sharing your heart!

Misty Dawn is an amazing lady - if you read her profile, you will wonder how she does it all!!! Of course you can find out more by just looking at her blog, "Misty's Musings" ... I'll give you a hint - she loves nature!!!

For Valentines Day, Misty posted this flock of birds.
But they're not just birds - check out the heart they make!

Thank you, Misty Dawn, for sharing your heart!

Tina is another friend whose blog I LOVE to visit. I'm not sure how Tina does it all either! She hosts several memes ... and participates in many others.

And has the time to get out and about to take amazing photos too - which you can see over at her blog "Tina's PicStory".
Check out her rose heart!

Thank you, Tina, for sharing your heart!

When I think of "desert", one of the first places I think of is Diane's peaceful and beautiful blog "Simply This".

Her comments are turned off for now, but I urge you to visit anyway!

Thank you, Diane, for sharing your desert ... and your heart!

Diane's other blog is "Desert Colors".
I have come to love the beauty of the desert through Diane's eyes ...
When she posted this beautiful "sun dog", I had to gasp ... at the beautiful heart she found!

Thank you, Diane, for sharing your heart!
