Guest Heart Thursday #116

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

Halcyon has been 'round the world.
Quite literally!
I love her blog, "Halcyon Travels" - because I get to visit other places through her eyes.

Do you see the heart this cherub is holding?

Thank you, Halcyon, for sharing the world - and your heart!
When Judy over at "Lilac Gate" sent me a link to Hilda's blog, "Hilda's Naturblogg", I couldn't wait to head on over. I'm so glad I did!!!

Hilda's photos are magical ... although I couldn't understand a word on her blog.
Then I found the "translate" button (I know, I'm a little slow sometimes) - and her words are magic as well.

Thank you, Hilda, for sharing your heart!
(Thank you Judy for sending me the link!)

I have been in awe of the talented Michelle for a long time.
She has inspired me so much!!!
Don't you just love the hearts she incorporated into her latest painting?

This is the complete picture -  isn't it awesome?

Michelle has an amazing ability to make beautiful art out of what most people would consider trash. I highly encourage you to visit Michelle over at "Yesterday's Trash" - I just know you will find some inspiration there as well!

Thank you, Michelle, for your inspiration - and for sharing your heart!

Robert's blog, "Daily Athens Photo" provides a glimpse of Athens that you won't see on the news.
He somehow combines current events, historical facts, as well as compelling and beautiful poetry in his photos and words ...

Robert recently posted this picture ... to publicize an art auction for charity.

The links to the wonderful charities supported are found on Robert's post HERE.

Thank you, Robert, for sharing your heart!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #86

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Kavita is from India, and her blog "My Room" is full of the beauty of her country.

What I enjoy most of all is how Kavita shares not only her beautiful photos, but also the history behind the places she visits.

Do you see the heart she included in this colorful photo collage?
It's a balloon!

Thank you, Kavita, for sharing your heart!

"Marges8's Blog" is where Marlendy shares her awe-inspiring collection of (mostly) paper dolls. I am not talking about the kind I used to cut out of the Sears catalog either ... these are absolutely AMAZING!

Sometimes Marlendy shares a greeting card - one special to her. I love these as well.

Do you see the heart in this card?
Hint - It's the hair bow!

Thank you, Marlendy, for sharing your collection - and your heart!

LouLou is also from India - although this award-winning photographer sells her work all over the world.

I am privileged to know LouLou through her blog "Indiaphragme". I have to issue a warning, though ... when you visit her, be sure to be prepared to stay a long time - because you will want to spend the rest of the day going back through her older posts!!!

Thank you, LouLou, for sharing your HEART!

For some of us, Lesley needs little introduction - Lesley hosts the wonderfully fun Wednesday meme - "Signs, Signs" - which I dearly love!!!

Lesley can also be found at "Southern Ontario, discovered"!

Thank you, Lesley, for sharing your Signs - and for sharing your heart!

Halcyon is a world traveler, who has been so many places I can't keep track of them! To check out her travels, you can find her at "Halcyon Travels".

She found this floor grate at the Vatican - complete with beautiful scrollwork hearts!!!

Thank you, Halcyon, for taking me places I've never been ... and for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #50

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

My lovely nieces Jenna and Tiffi spent a few days of their Spring Break here at the house. Much fun was had!

I was awed when both of them started showing me the hearts they found ... right here. Hearts I live with, but didn't even see!!!

Like this old broken and rusty chainsaw chain that was left on the fireplace.

Thank you, Tiffi and Jenna, for sharing your hearts.
Thank you Tiffi for finding this one!

"Halcyon Travels" is an amazing place where Halcyon posts pictures taken from travels around the globe.

Recently, Halcyon posted this delicate and beautiful white orchid.
Do you see the beautiful green pastel hearts?

Thank you, Halcyon, for sharing your travels ... and your hearts!

Dani is one of my adopted 'sisters-of-different-mothers'. We will probably never meet in person, but I still consider her part of my family!

Dani is from Macedonia, but is living and going to school in China. She has two blogs, "Snow Flowers" and "A Lovely Home for Hearts" ... and my day just isn't the same unless she posts one of her beautiful found hearts, or one of her gorgeous photographs.

Thank you, Dani, for being a wonderful friend ... and for sharing your hearts!

Bhavesh Chhatbar is from India, and takes some of the most amazing photos for his "BLOG". He has taught me so much about the beauty, color and history of his country. His wife, Megha, is a gifted artist, and puts into her art the same magic of India that Bhavesh puts into his photos.

Bhavesh holds a special place in my heart ... his was my first posted guest heart ... and was the inspiration for Guest Heart Thursday!

Thank you, Bhavesh and Megha, for sharing your world ... and your hearts!

Sunny over at "Barnyards and Barnacles" is another of my favorite places to visit. Sunny's gifted photography and wry humor bring smiles to my heart.

Do you see the heart(s) on this adorable cow? (Only Sunny could make COWS look ADORABLE!)

Thank you, Sunny, for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #42

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR hearts!

I couldn't help but fall in love with Izzie (who owns Darlene) - and all of the random hearts I found in her portrait photo!

Darlene is a wonderful lady whose artistic talent leaves me in awe. But that's not all. Darlene's blog "A Dancing Mango" is so much more than an art blog. It is a life journey - with hints of Darlene's beautiful home, her love of her world, the genuineness and gentleness of her heart and soul. She is such an inspiration to me.

Thank you, Darlene, for the beauty you share with the world - and for sharing the hearts that have found their way to you!

Prospero sees his world so differently - and shares this moving and abstract beauty on his blog - "Serendipitous Garden". I know that when Prospero posts something, I will be long contemplating his words ... his photographs ... the full meaning he sometimes hides so well!

Thank you, Prospero, for sharing your soul ... and your heart.

When I found what Dani came across and posted to her blog "A Lovely Home For Hearts", I had to laugh - with absolute joy! Only Dani could have found this one!

Dani has been with Guest Heart Thursday since nearly the beginning. She has another blog "Snow Flowers" that is also a delight to my heart. Dani is in China right now, which fascinates me. Things are so different halfway around the world ... yet so much is the same.

Thank you, Dani, for being such a wonderful friend and Queen of Hearts - and for sharing so many hearts you have found in your world.

P.S. Did I hear you had a birthday recently?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DANI!!!

Cheryl is awesome.
She has been such an inspiration to me - in the way she sees her world - her blogs "March to March" and "Nostalgia: Yesterday and Today" are also some of my FAVORITE places to visit!

Especially when Cheryl finds something so wonderful and different as this Santa Beard Heart! Can you believe it???

Thank you, Cheryl, for being such a wonderful friend, and for sharing your heart!

Halcyon of "Halcyon Travels" has traveled all over the world!
She spent much of this winter in Berlin, and took this photo at the Charlottenburg Christmas market in December.

I love the whimsical beauty of these wonderfully abstract bird houses - and I love that little heart as well!

Thank you, Halcyon, for sharing your travels - and your heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #38

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

What I first noticed about Carole's "Noteworthy Musings" blog were her photos. They are wonderful! As I read through her older posts, I came to love her sweet spirit, wonderful sense of humor, and her view of life.

It wasn't until much later, after getting to know her, that I realized we live in the same state!
Then things got a little spooky ...
Turns out we spent several years as teenagers ... living within shouting distance of each other!
Possibly even met a few times!

During one of Carole's visits to a local arts and crafts show, she came across this beautiful dress - with the heart on top. Do you see the second heart here?

Thank you, Carole, for sharing your hearts today!

Carmelina is one of the most amazingly creative people I have had the honor to meet via Blogland. Her blog "Creative Carmelina" is a treasure trove of wonder!

Can you guess how she uses these gorgeous little cushions she made (with the cute little hearts)?
They are needle tags! What a wonderful idea!

Thank you, Carmelina, for sharing your talent - and your hearts!

I was introduced to Dave Bonta's blog "Via Negativa" by Susannah over at "Wanderin' Weeta". What an amazing person he is!

I have only had the chance to skim through his posts, but look forward to having the time to spending a LOT more time doing so!

Thank you, Dave, for sharing your heart!

Halcyon of "Halcyon Travels" has been in Berlin this winter ... she lost her Father-in-Law
These flowers from his funeral, covered with newly fallen snow, show so much love.

May the New Year bring joy and happiness to you, my friend.

Thank you, Halcyon, for sharing the beauty of your heart ... even amidst the grief and pain of life.

Grannie Annie (AKA Deann) is one of my Blog-sissies, and I am stunned and amazed at the beauty that flows from her fingertips. You can see her talent over at her blog "Whimsey Asylum".

This is a collage Deann made for an art challenge. She calls it "A Little Slice of Heaven". I agree with this title!

But I also agree with Deann's comment ... "What I want to know is...just who's idea of heaven is heaven going to be...and can it really be heaven if there is no chocolate?"

Thank you, Sissie-Dea, for sharing your heart!

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Happy New Year to you all!
May the hearts that find you this coming year warm you -
heart and soul.

Guest Heart Thursday #14

Deadheading flowers can be a chore - unless you find a heart!
That's what Squirrel Queen found - when she posted this
beautiful broken heart on her blog Through Squirrel Eyes.

I found out a few things about this delightful blogger ... she has a
second blog - The Road To Here that you really should check out ...
And best of all, she loves my favorite author of all time - DEAN KOONTZ!!!

Beth, over at Expect the Unexpected is my best friend.
She is also my sister.
Seriously, same mother and father and all!
We were walking at the abandoned church when she found
this gorgeous thimbleberry heart.

Cheryl over at Nostalgia: Today and Yesterday found these
gorgeous red hearts.

When I looked closer, I found hearts within hearts.
A perfect find!

Thank you Cheryl - you have been an inspiration to me!

And look at the gorgeous yellow hearts found by Dani over at Snow Flowers.

I am constantly amazed by Dani's eye for finding unexpected
beauty in the world.

Thank you, my friend!

There is beauty in this rose that Halcyon at Jackson Daily Photo found in
Berlin. And I'm not just talking about the gorgeous red heart.

You see, Halcyon knows that this heart is love - sent to her from her
wonderful Mother-in-Law - who is going through rough times right now.

I got tears in my eyes as I read her message.
It's not every day you find a HEART with HEART!

Thank you to all heart seekers out there.
May you find some today!!!

If you have found a heart, please join us for Guest Heart Thursday. Just link the URL of your heart to Linky!

Guest Heart Thursday #10

Woody over at "Photoblog of Wayne Woodruff" captured this flowery heart. I don't think I've ever seen a heart so tiny before!

But it's not surprising - Woody takes amazingly detailed photos - of anything that takes his fancy - then shares with us the 'technical' data for each shot.

I don't understand the technical part, but I understand the beauty and emotions of his amazing photographs!

I found Dani's "Snow flowers" blog last week when she posted this cute cherry heart on Weekend Reflections.

When I started looking at her work, I was amazed at how many many random hearts she has found in her world! She definitely has the eye and heart for these elusive beauties! Dani is from Macedonia - I love it that random hearts are the same all over the world!

I look forward to including Dani's beautiful hearts in many future Guest Heart Thursdays.

Susannah captures my heart with every post she makes on "Wanderin' Weeta"
She lives in British Columbia, Canada, and finds the most amazing - and tiny - critters, plants and other things that most of us (myself included) would never think to look for.

Susannah has taught me to look for the tiny things in life. They hold awesome beauty.
Like these encrusted bryozoan - one of which is shaped like a heart!

I find, when I am walking, that I tend to have "Wanderin' Weeta" moments now - and when I do, I always find beauty. Thank you so much Susannah. You are amazing!

I love bleeding hearts. The plants, that is!
Which is why I absolutely ADORE this shot by Tamera over at "Colorado Springs Daily Photo".

But then again, I love her blog in general! She finds the best of "The Springs" and brings it to life. I lived there for 3 years, and miss it so much.
Tamera helps ease that hurt.
Thank you so much, my friend!

And look what my friend Halcyon over at "Jackson Daily Photo" found -
an entire plate full of hearts for breakfast!!!

Brings new meaning to the term 'eat your heart out' !!!???

Thank you for finding these hearts - BEFORE you ate them!

A huge THANK YOU to all who participated in
Random Heart Thursday!

Have you found a random heart? If so - I want to hear from you!
Leave a comment here, or send me an e-mail (see my sidebar for info).
Be sure to indicate that I have your permission to feature YOUR heart photo here.
