Guest Heart Thursday #116

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

Halcyon has been 'round the world.
Quite literally!
I love her blog, "Halcyon Travels" - because I get to visit other places through her eyes.

Do you see the heart this cherub is holding?

Thank you, Halcyon, for sharing the world - and your heart!
When Judy over at "Lilac Gate" sent me a link to Hilda's blog, "Hilda's Naturblogg", I couldn't wait to head on over. I'm so glad I did!!!

Hilda's photos are magical ... although I couldn't understand a word on her blog.
Then I found the "translate" button (I know, I'm a little slow sometimes) - and her words are magic as well.

Thank you, Hilda, for sharing your heart!
(Thank you Judy for sending me the link!)

I have been in awe of the talented Michelle for a long time.
She has inspired me so much!!!
Don't you just love the hearts she incorporated into her latest painting?

This is the complete picture -  isn't it awesome?

Michelle has an amazing ability to make beautiful art out of what most people would consider trash. I highly encourage you to visit Michelle over at "Yesterday's Trash" - I just know you will find some inspiration there as well!

Thank you, Michelle, for your inspiration - and for sharing your heart!

Robert's blog, "Daily Athens Photo" provides a glimpse of Athens that you won't see on the news.
He somehow combines current events, historical facts, as well as compelling and beautiful poetry in his photos and words ...

Robert recently posted this picture ... to publicize an art auction for charity.

The links to the wonderful charities supported are found on Robert's post HERE.

Thank you, Robert, for sharing your heart!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #91

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Robert found this gorgeous bench in Athens ...
When he posted it on his blog, "Daily Athens Photo", I fell in love with the simple beauty of the heart that had been painted here.

Robert has a way of doing that ... finding the most amazing photos ...
and then pairing them with history (past and current!) to tell the stories of what he sees in the world around him.

Thank you, Robert, for sharing your heart!

"Barnyards and Barnacles" is where Sunny shares amazing photos of her world - and some of them take my breath away - like this wonderful heart she found!!!

Thank you, Sunny, for sharing your heart!

(This is not something I often do ... but Sunny - have you ever met Debbie?
Debbie, do you know Sunny?
I just have a wonderful feeling that you are kindred spirits - and would be great friends!!!)

Dani, one of my adopted heart-sisters, is traveling again ...
She's been going back and forth between China and Macedonia ...

And is going to be home for a while!
(Home would be Macedonia!)

I can't wait to see all of the hearts Dani shares on her "Lovely Home for Hearts"!!!
I know it's been a tough year for that ...

Thank you, Dani, for sharing when you can ... your heart!

JM posted this cute dog statue on his AMAZING blog "Oeiras and Environs Daily Photo" - I was fascinated by the blotches of lichen ...

Especially the one that's shaped like a heart!!!

Thank you, JM, for sharing your beautiful world ... and your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #67

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

I had tears in my eyes when I found what Pam posted over at "Simply Coastal" yesterday. A beautiful sea heart, nested in a bed of seaweed ... surrounded by pristine and beautiful sand ... a rare and special heart-gift from a Florida beach.

My favorite place in the world is the ocean (ANY ocean!).
I would live there if I could, but right now I can't.
Pam's posts fill a void in my soul, and I appreciate her SO very much!!!

Thank you, Pam, for sharing your ocean when I am missing mine, and for sharing your heart!

I meant to post Lois' beautiful tree and sun heart a long time ago (shortly after she posted it on "Tallahassee Daily Photo") ... but it was lost in my computer. Well, the lost has been found (lurking in an obscure file in my external hard drive)!!!

Lois is one of my original blogging friends, and I hope she knows how much I appreciate her!

Thank you, Lois, for your friendship ... and for sharing your heart!

Lynnette wanders the city of Portland, Oregon, and takes wonderful pictures of the citizens and landscape of this beautiful city for "Portland, Oregon Daily Photo".

She took this candid shot of a little girl playing in a fountain on a (rare) hot day in the city.

If you look closely, you will see that the little girl seems to be reaching for a watery heart!!!

Thank you, Lynnette, for sharing your city ... and your heart!

Robert of "Daily Athens" found this heart someone drew on a wall.
I truly appreciate Robert and his views of his country.
He is away from blogging for a while, due to "unforeseen circumstances", and I am looking forward to his return!

Thank you, Robert, for sharing your heart!

One of my favorite hearts that my sister Beth has found is this wonderful heart-shaped bit of red candy (I really like the dish she photographed it against too!).

I am constantly in awe of the beauty Beth FINDS in the world ... whether it's a random "Geometric" shape in nature, a hauntingly beautiful glimpse of "The Abandoned", a wonderful photo for "Expect the Unexpected", or a quaint card for "The Best Hearts Are Crunchy".

I am equally in awe of the beauty Beth BRINGS TO the world in her amazing artwork (check out "Beth's Artworx" - you'll see what I mean!!!)

Thank you, sissie, for being my inspiration - and for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #64

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Teri and her sister Gina have a special bond ... though they live far apart from each other, they are as close to each other as sisters can be.

Some time ago, Teri and Gina began to realize they were seeing hearts, which they called "Our Wild Hearts". This became their blog!

Teri is a professional photographer, and you can see her beautiful work by going to her photography blog - "Teri H. Hoover Photography".

Thank you Teri and Gina for sharing your sisterhood - and your hearts!

Robert is from Athens, Greece. I appreciate his blog, "Daily Athens", so much. He shows not only the beauty of his city, but the gritty reality as well.

Athens has been on the news lately, with unrest and demonstrations against the government. My heart goes out to this country.

Thank you, Robert, for sharing from your heart ... and for sharing your heart!

My niece Jenna (along with her parents and siblings!) spent a few days at our house. It was a special time we shared, most of it outside enjoying the beauty of the surrounding woods.

I was thrilled when Jenna came running up to me saying "Auntie Clytie! There's a HEART over here!"

Sure enough, a bit of leaf had become stuck to an old log - in the shape of a tiny heart!

Thank you, Jenna, for sharing your heart!

I love getting e-mails from Louis, who lives in the "back country of Southern California" ... I can just picture Louis kicked back on the deck, cool drink in hand, finding hearts in the rocks and roses (This faded rose that Louis sent is an old rose called "La Reine Victoria").

Louis has no blog, no Facebook, no Twitter ... only the beauty of the surrounding nature.
I think I'm a bit jealous!!!

Thank you, Louis, for sharing your "Faded Heart"!

Costas is from Greece ... and I can't go on enough about how much I love the photography he posts on his blog "Nature Digital". As always, I encourage you to visit his blog ... but don't just look at the pictures - click on them to enlarge. Magic, Costas, pure magic!

Costas' beautiful country of Greece is facing desperate times ...
My heart and prayers are with this country ...

Thank you, Costas, for sharing your hearts.

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #61

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Sunny over at "Barnyards and Barnacles" finds the most interesting subjects - and photographs them beautifully. I love her sense of humor, and her unique way of showing us her wonderful world.

Thank you, Sunny, for brightening my life, and for sharing your heart!

Robert is amazing.
He shares his beautiful city of Athens on his blog "Daily Athens". But not only does Robert share the beauty of Athens, he also shares the everyday grittiness of life there as well - which I deeply appreciate.

Robert also hosts "Psalm Challenge" on Sundays, and I am looking forward to participating soon!

Thank you, Robert, for being amazing ... and for sharing your heart!

Louis sent these beautiful "Ballerina" roses to us from the back country of Southern California.
The picture is titled "Find a Heart" - do you accept the challenge?
How many hearts do you see?

Thank you, Louis, for sharing your hearts!

What can I say about Dani?
She is my soul sister!
We only met a short time ago, yet I feel I've known her a long time.
And she is AMAZING!

Dani is from Macedonia, currently going to school in China.
A whole world away from where I am, yet I can visit her anytime I want over at "Snow Flowers" and "A Lovely Home for Hearts". You should visit her too!

Thank you, Dani, for being a wonderful friend ... and for sharing your hearts!

One of my favorite kinds of hearts are the everyday hearts that seem to pop up out of nowhere, just waiting to be found.

Like the cute little worn hole heart that Inger-M found in her daughter's sock.
It's absolutely precious!

You can find Inger over at her wonderful blog "A Picture in Time".

Thank you, Inger, for sharing your delightful heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #43

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

I found "La Vie Quotidienne's" blog via a comment left at "Claudia's Blog". I believe it went something like "I have hearts on my blog today too". Of course the temptation was too great to resist, and off I went.

I couldn't have been more delighted, especially when I found this GORGEOUS handmade Valentine's bulletin board!

Thank you, La Vie Quotidienne, for sharing your hearts!
Thank you Claus, for your post on the history of the heart that led me here!

Robert's city, Athens, has gone through rough times lately.
His blog, "Daily Athens" hints at this.
But mostly Robert shows how he loves his city - through his beautiful photos and genuine words.

I don't think he realized he was sharing a heart when he posted this fabric knot - but he did!

Thank you, Robert, for sharing your city - and your heart.

And what can I say about Carmelina ... she can do it ALL!!!
She is an amazing artist, and you really need to go back through her blog, "Creative Carmelina", to get an idea of how talented and inspirational she is.

Sometimes, though, she also posts a heart - without realizing it!

Thank you, Carmelina, for the inspiration you are to me - and for sharing your heart!

I don't think Diane AZ realized she posted a great big blue heart on this beautiful Arizona landscape shot. But I noticed it right away, and I'm sure you will too!

If you love beautiful pictures of an amazing place, make sure you come to "Desert Colors" with some extra time on your hands - because you are going to want to stay for a long time!

Thank you, Diane, for sharing your world - and your heart!

Eric Dustrude's blog "365 Photos" is new to me. In fact, it was Sheryl over at "Astoria Oregon Daily Photo" who sent me the link to this amazing photo.

I spent a few minutes looking over Eric's blog - and found a wonderful photographer hard at work. He started his blog in 2009, intending to post photos for a year. Well, it's been more than a year and Eric is still going strong!

Thank you, Eric, for sharing your heart!
Thank you Sheryl for finding it!

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #25

Robert found these beautiful hearts during a seaside walk.

Robert's blog, Daily Athens, is a joy to me. He takes wonderful pictures of his city ... but he also is a gifted poet who frequently makes me stop and think. Sometimes his words are so beautiful they bring tears to my eyes.

Thank you so much, ρομπερτ, for sharing your heart.

Jeannette over at Castle St. Germaine is an exceptional artist.
Her paintings are brilliant!

And her dessert ... well, it was brilliant too - because she found these gorgeous hearts!

Thank you, Jeannette, for brightening the world with your art ... and for sharing your hearts!

Dorothy is retired, with two blogs. One features her crafts (Coffeedoff Crafting), the other her photos (Coffeedoff's Coffee Break).
She actively participates in memes - and I'm so glad she found her way to Guest Heart Thursday with this wonderful potato heart!

Thank you, Dorothy, for sharing this wonderful potato ... er, heart!
I hope you baked it and (oh I just can't resist) 'ate your heart out' ??? !!!

Viridian, over at Viridian's Blog absolutely amazed me with this beautiful rock heart.
I've found rock hearts before ... but never one so PERFECT!

Please check out her blog. She is starting a life journey that inspires me.
She may just inspire you as well.

Thank you for sharing your heart, my friend.
Good luck on your quest.

Pearmama is a beautiful artist who has a way with words that makes me laugh. Whenever I am feeling down, I head on over to her blog, Pearmama's World, to enjoy her delightful way of looking at her world.

She made these gorgeous shoes for her niece's birthday. Her talent is awesome, as you can see!

Thank you, Pearmama, for sharing your world in such an incredibly honest way ... and for sharing your heart.
