Guest Heart Thursday #112

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday ...
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

Well, Brianne has done it again - I SO fell in love with these hearts she found last week - and I hope she knows how much I look forward to the hearts she finds in her world!!!

Brianne's wonderful photos (I love seeing the world through her eyes!) can be found over at her blog, "This Is My Offering ..."

Thank you, Brianne, for sharing your heart!

If you haven't visited "Judy Grupp Studio", then you are missing out on the chance to see a truly gifted artist in action!

I am in awe of Judy's artwork ... I can't describe it here ... you'll just have to visit her to know what I mean!

Thank you, Judy, for sharing your heart!

I love it when Costas publishes a random heart ...
Because it gives me the opportunity to share his outstanding and magical photos!

When you visit "Nature Digital", be sure to enlarge the photos ... you will be amazed at how a seemingly ordinary photo becomes pure magic up close. I'm not quite sure how Costas does that - but I love it!

Thank you, Costas, for sharing your heart!

Once again I just had to feature JM's work ...
Because I fell in love with the hearts on this view!
You can find JM over at "Oeiras and Environs Daily Photo" ... but be prepared to spend a lot of time looking back through his amazing blog!

Thank you again, JM, for sharing your heart!

Beth has been busy lately ... finishing up a commissioned work ... which she hasn't shared with us yet. But we are Waiting ... PATIENTLY (yeah right!) ...

I miss Beth when she's not posting to her blogs; but you can get caught up with her awesome artwork by visiting "Beth's Artworx". Because she will be back soon!!!

Thank you, sissie, for sharing you heart!

Guest Heart Thursday #97

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Costas over at the magical "Nature Digital" posted this picture of the entry of a hotel he visited a while back. I don't think he even noticed the chairs had heart shaped backs!

Be sure to visit Costas - where he is working to keep warm in the cold and snow!

Thank you, Costas, for sharing your heart!

Not to be outdone, Namaki of "Objectif Regarder" found this snow covered chair ... and heart!

It looks like a lot of people all over the world are trying to keep warm this winter.

Thank you, Namaki, for sharing your heart!

It's been two years since Linda S. went walking with us over at The Abandoned ...
Where she found this amazing tree heart.

I miss you, Linda, our adopted sissie!
I hope you can visit again soon!

Thank you, Linda, for sharing your heart!

This eerie moon picture was sent to me by my sister-in-law.
I love how the moon has become a heart ...
And reflects the heart-shaped shadow behind it!

Thank you, Bert, for sharing your heart!

Today is a special day over at "A Dancing Mango".
It's Darlene's Mom's birthday!
She is 85 year young today - so be sure to go over to Darlene's blog to wish MOM a happy birthday!!!

And be sure to check out Darlene's beautiful artwork - I am in awe of her talent!

And I still maintain, Darlene, that you are one of the most genuinely nicest people I've come across here in Blogland. You continue to inspire me.

Thank you, Darlene, for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #96

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Doesn't this ham heart look yummy?
I thought so too when my sister-in-law sent me this picture!

Thank you, Bert, for sharing your heart!

Do you see the heart in this tree?
It's hiding in plain sight!
Costas found this beautiful tree heart and posted it to his blog - "Nature Digital" - a place where magic is found.

Thank you, Costas, for sharing your heart!

Another magical place I love to visit is Judy's "Lilac Gate".
I've never been to Canada, but Judy makes me wish I could go to see the beauty she finds ... like this wonderful macro of a poinsettia Judy posted a while back. I never realized before that poinsettias had heart!

Thank you, Judy, for sharing your heart!

Prospero is a poet, but not in the usual sense. His photography, paired with his words, create a visual poem ... when you visit him over at "Serendipitous Gardens" you will understand what I mean.

I was especially drawn by this flower ... the magic Prospero used to highlight the delicate heart petals ... the moodiness he somehow infused ...

Thank you, Prospero, for sharing your heart!
And for being such a kind blogging-bro!

Abe posted this picture of a sharp shinned hawk this winter ... check out the incredible heart on its chest!

If you don't know Abe, you need to visit him over at "My Bird's Blog" ... where he shares amazing photos of birds that visit him in his own back yard!!!

Thank you, Abe, for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

Guest Heart Thursday #83

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Laura sent me this wintertime heart she had found ...
I love it for many different reasons!
It's beauty mirrors the seasons of life changes that we all go through ... and reminds me that even when life doesn't go the way we planned, there is still beauty to be found.

Laura personifies the beauty of this heart.
She is going through more adversity in her life than I can imagine, yet still shines, encourages, inspires.

Visit Laura over at "Shine the Divine: Creativity IS a Spiritual Practice" - you will love it there too!

Thank you, Laura, for being you - and for sharing your heart.

I have introduced you to Costas before - he makes MAGIC over at his blog "Nature Digital".
Costas is from Greece, a country in turmoil.
Yet it's beauty is undiminished - as Costas shows in every post.

So ... where you ask is the heart in this picture?

It's tiny, but it's there! Right near the bottom of the shot!

Costas has turned off his "Comments", and I wanted to take this opportunity to say "THANK YOU", Costas, for the magic you bring to my life!

And thank you for sharing your heart!

When I think of Tina, I think of her blog "Tina's PicStory" - and I think "photo challenge"!

When she posts her photos, however, I am amazed at her beautiful photos! Like this sunflower heart. I am in awe of you, Tina!

Thank you for all you do ... and thank you for sharing your heart!

JM's blog "Oeiras and environs daily photo" is fast becoming another of my favorite places to visit. JM is from Portugal, a country I will probably never visit in person ... but I am able to visit daily through JM's beautiful and evocative photography and narration.

Thank you, JM, for sharing your beautiful environs ... and for sharing your heart!

And what can I say about Owen???
His "Magic Lantern Show (OR ... Mr. Toad's Travel Diary)" is filled with fun, beauty, humor, history, rust, cemeteries, and just about anything that catches the eyes of Mr. Toad. I LOVE it!

Owen found these Chinese Lantern plants in his garden unbidden - and decided to leave them. I'm so glad he did - they are absolutely beautiful!
And "hearty"!

Thank you, Owen, for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #79

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Today, I am featuring YOUR hearts - found in nature!

Susannah found this wet begonia heart and posted it to her blog "Wanderin' Weeta (with Waterfowl and Weeds)".

Susannah has been a great inspiration to me - I've learned to look down and see the tiny beauty of nature. When you visit her blog, you will be inspired as well!

Thank you, Susannah, for sharing your heart!

Beth has several wonderful blogs that I love - they reflect the beauty she finds in her world (like these GORGEOUS heart raindrop reflections!), as well as her amazing artwork!

One of Beth's blogs that inspires me is "Geometric". If you haven't been there, you will be delighted at the wonderful and unique shapes Beth finds in nature!!!

Thank you, my sister, for sharing your heart!

Costas is another artist who inspires me - you've met him before - on his magical blog "Nature Digital".
Here is where I ALWAYS say - when you visit Costas, be sure to click on his pictures to enlarge them. And to see the MAGIC I'm talking about!!!

Thank you, Costas, for sharing your heart!

Dani shared this wonderful tomato heart on her blog "A Lovely Home For Hearts".
And a LOVELY home for HEARTS she has created!!!

Dani shares hearts from her home in Macedonia and her adopted home in China - I am constantly amazed and delighted at the beauty she finds in her world!

Thank you, dear heart-sister Dani, for sharing your hearts!!!

I had to gasp when I saw Tina's pigeon heart on her blog "Tina's PicStory".

If you haven't visited Tina, you are in for a VERY special treat!

Tina hosts "PicStory" - a wonderful and ever-changing weekly challenge ...
And "Weekend Flowers" - a wonderful place for us to share our flower photos!!!

Thank you so much, Tina, for sharing your heart!!!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #78

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Nina P. touched my heart
With this beautiful poem ...

Choosing Your Path

Do I take the road that lies ahead or do I forge a brave new path?
Do I follow my heart to where it leads? Will I find Peace or wrath?

Choose to follow the road to Light, though it may twist and turn.
Walk your path to Love and Light, and Together we can learn.

Follow your dreams towards Higher ground, walk in Angels hand.
And be the change you want to see, Across this earthy land.

Time will come when we'll see, all paths follow the same Light.
God's has many names and forms, yet has One Great Sight.

Let's unify this world we're in, and find the common ground.
For brothers and sisters all are we, to see this just look around

We are more alike than we differ, open your senses and know
We're all created in the Light; all seeds that God did sow

Each of us has a place on earth, and also a place Above.
As One let's walk on our paths and Unite through Infinite Love.

Written with Love and Light, by Nina P. Ploetz 9/30/2011

Nina P. has touched my heart so many times ... when you visit her blog "Nina P's Thoughts and Musings ..." your heart will be touched as well.

Thank you, Nina, for sharing your heart!

I've introduced you to my friend Costas several times in the past.
His blog "Nature Digital" showcases his magical photographs.
As always, I urge you, when you visit him, to be sure to click on his pictures to enlarge them. That's when the magic happens!!!

Speaking of magic ... do you see the heart Costas found in this shot?
Did you even know that bees have heart-shaped faces???

Thank you, Costas, for sharing your heart!

And look at the wonderful heart Boki found - on the sidewalk!!!

If we all could go without our cars knowing we'd find delightful hearts along the way, we'd all be walking a lot more often!!!

You can find this and other beautiful hearts over at Boki's blog "Ninas y Corazones".

Thank you, Boki, for sharing your heart!

I am enchanted with Donna's garden ... what a beautiful and magical place!
Her garden is on display over at "Gardens Eye View" ... but be sure to devote some extra time to explore when you visit her - you will want to stay a long time!

This picture in particular caught my eye ... Donna created this painting from a real photograph!
Complete with a beautiful glowing heart!

Thank you, Donna, for sharing your garden ... and your heart!

The hearts Gemma found in this delicate pink rose are subtle ...
Hearts of shadow and velvety petal ...
I see several!

Be sure to visit Gemma's "Greyscale Territory" - you will be delighted - as I am every time I visit her.

"Whisper of colour
Kiss of a new Spring morning
May it linger here"

Thank you, Gemma, for sharing your photos, your Haiku ... and your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

Guest Heart Thursday #69

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

My friend Louis B. sent me this wonderful geranium photo. Instead of a blog, Louis lives in the "back country of Southern California" - internet free! I picture Louis kicking back on the porch in the early morning air, cup of coffee in hand, finding the beauty of nature ... finding hearts! Do you see the little hearts in this picture?
Ahhhh, what a life!

Thank you, Louis, for sharing your heart!

Another found heart this week comes to us from Australia ...
She is known on her blog "Pieces of Contentment" as "Pieces of Sunshine" ... to me she personifies both wonderful contentment and beautiful sunshine.

I discovered her blog through a post on Tina's "Weekend Flowers", and have been enchanted by her amazing photos (like this stunning heart-in-a-flower!) ever since. If you want to feel true contentment ... and bask in the beauty of sunshine ... visit here!

Thank you, Pieces of Sunshine, for sharing your heart!

Another flower heart ... this time found by Kristi over at "Kristi Bowman Design". Kristi is an amazing artist, who creates beautiful jewelry. This rose heart completely stole MY heart; and I wasn't the only one! Kristi's submission to last week's "Weekend Flowers" was voted as favorite for the week! Congratulations Kristi, although I have to say I'm NOT surprised!

Thank you, Kristi, for sharing your heart!

One of my favorite people to visit is Sunny over at "Barnyards & Barnacles". Sunny is a gifted photographer ... her farm animal shots are amazing (like this sheep-with-hearts shot) ... as are the rest of the photos she posts. Sunny also has an incredible sense of humor, which I adore!

Thank you, Sunny, for sharing your heart!

Costas' photos long ago captured my heart.
I have many times encouraged those who visit his blog to be sure to enlarge his photos to see the transformation from ordinary picture to magic!

Costas' series "Secrets of the Rock" is outstanding - one of the "secrets" involves these beautiful little flowers ... picked one day a year ... and made into beautiful designs - including hearts! To learn more "secrets of the rock", visit Costas over at "Nature Digital!"

And thank you, Costas, for sharing your world ... and your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - a huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #64

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Teri and her sister Gina have a special bond ... though they live far apart from each other, they are as close to each other as sisters can be.

Some time ago, Teri and Gina began to realize they were seeing hearts, which they called "Our Wild Hearts". This became their blog!

Teri is a professional photographer, and you can see her beautiful work by going to her photography blog - "Teri H. Hoover Photography".

Thank you Teri and Gina for sharing your sisterhood - and your hearts!

Robert is from Athens, Greece. I appreciate his blog, "Daily Athens", so much. He shows not only the beauty of his city, but the gritty reality as well.

Athens has been on the news lately, with unrest and demonstrations against the government. My heart goes out to this country.

Thank you, Robert, for sharing from your heart ... and for sharing your heart!

My niece Jenna (along with her parents and siblings!) spent a few days at our house. It was a special time we shared, most of it outside enjoying the beauty of the surrounding woods.

I was thrilled when Jenna came running up to me saying "Auntie Clytie! There's a HEART over here!"

Sure enough, a bit of leaf had become stuck to an old log - in the shape of a tiny heart!

Thank you, Jenna, for sharing your heart!

I love getting e-mails from Louis, who lives in the "back country of Southern California" ... I can just picture Louis kicked back on the deck, cool drink in hand, finding hearts in the rocks and roses (This faded rose that Louis sent is an old rose called "La Reine Victoria").

Louis has no blog, no Facebook, no Twitter ... only the beauty of the surrounding nature.
I think I'm a bit jealous!!!

Thank you, Louis, for sharing your "Faded Heart"!

Costas is from Greece ... and I can't go on enough about how much I love the photography he posts on his blog "Nature Digital". As always, I encourage you to visit his blog ... but don't just look at the pictures - click on them to enlarge. Magic, Costas, pure magic!

Costas' beautiful country of Greece is facing desperate times ...
My heart and prayers are with this country ...

Thank you, Costas, for sharing your hearts.

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #59

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Cindy over at "The Crafty Frugalista" made this 'hearty' pancake for her son - and there is a beautiful story behind this recipe that will make you smile.

Cindy is a wonderful artist, who makes the most beautiful cards ... and when you visit her blog, be sure to congratulate her - she's being published in the June 1st edition of "Take Ten" Magazine! Congratulations, Cindy!

And thank you for sharing your heart!

Karen over at "Pixel Posts" brought tears to my eyes with this beautiful carnation. Do you see the heart in the center?

There is more to this flower than meets the eye, however ... as Karen writes ...

"May is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness month in Canada. Every year the MS Carnation Campaign takes place in May to help raise funds and increase awareness. Carnations are sold on street corners, malls and other public spaces. The carnation is Canada's oldest and most recognized symbol of hope in the quest to end multiple sclerosis."

World wide, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) affects about 2.5 million people. Canadians have one of the highest rates of MS in the world. Karen is one of those Canadians. MS lasts a lifetime, and there is no cure.

Thank you, Karen, for sharing your heart ...
And for reminding us all of the fight to find a cure for MS.

If you ever thought Arizona was dry and boring, then you need to visit Diane's blog, "Desert Colors" - she will change your mind with her beautiful photography, and her love of her world.

Diane found this Staghorn Cholla cactus flower during a nature walk ... Do you see the two hearts? (hint: one is red, the other yellow!)

Thank you, Diane, for making me love the desert ... and for sharing your heart!

I met Sara only recently - when she linked up with last week's GHT. When I visited her blog, "Sara's Fave Photos Blog", I was delighted!

I especially love these African violets. Look at all of those delicate pink hearts!!!

Thank you, Sara, for sharing your hearts!

Costa's photos over at "Nature Digital" are stunning - and I look forward to each post! When you visit his blog, be sure to click on his pictures - what seems to be ordinary becomes magical. You'll see what I mean when you visit him!

And look what he came back with from his recent trip ... this beautiful heart!

Thank you, Costas, for delighting my world, and for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!
