Guest Heart Thursday #114

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

I was delighted to find Roan's blog, "Rubbish by Roan" ... where my eye was caught, first by her photo of this delightful duck - with a heart on its back, and then by her wonderfully random blog! (And you ALL know how much I love Randomness!!!)

Roan writes ... "sometimes gems can be found in a garbage heap. Go ahead, dig through. You might find something of value."
AMEN!

Thank you, Roan, for sharing your heart!

Once again Owen has found something unusual in Paris ...
And it happens to include a few hearts!

It seems that, since graffiti has been forbidden, people have found another unusual way to pay tribute to Jim Morrison ... and now decorate the tree near his tomb ... with chewing gum.

Be sure to visit Owen's blog, "Magic Lantern Show ... " you will love the side of Paris he shows you ... that you will not see anywhere else!

Thank you again, Owen, for sharing your heart!

When NixBlog posted these delicious looking chocolates, my mouth watered just imagining how wonderful these hearts would taste!

You can visit NixBlog over at "NixPixMix" - but be prepared to stay a while and explore Australia!

Thank you, NixBlog, for sharing your chocolate ... and your heart!

I am always amazed at the beauty and diversity Diane finds in the desert, and posts on her blog, "Desert Colors" ... Be warned, however ... because this is another place you will want to visit and stay for a long, long time!!

And just look at this gorgeous butterfly - a "Marine Blue Butterfly" ... with a heart on her back!!!

Thank you, Diane, for sharing your heart!

If I were ever to decide to visit India, one of the places I would go first is "Unseen Rajasthan's" travel blog ... I have been following this blog for a long time, and am always amazed at the beauty of this most amazing country!!!

Thank you, "Unseen Rajasthan", for sharing your heart!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #92

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

You wouldn't think that wintertime would be a time for sharing the beauty of nature ... but don't tell that to Judy!

I have been following Judy over at "Lilac Gate" for a long time, and am constantly amazed by the beauty she finds in the outdoor world around her. Even in winter!

Thank you, Judy, for sharing your heart!

When Laura sends me a link, I know she has found something extra special ...
This beautiful flower heart is no exception ...
It was posted by Hilda on her blog "Hilda's Naturblogg".
When I visited Hilda, I was entranced by the beauty of her photographs.

Thank you, Hilda, for sharing your heart!
Thank you, Laura, for sharing the link!

It is said that friends come and go, but sisters are forever.
I know this is true when I visit Teri and Gina's blog "Our Wild Hearts".
The beauty of their friendship ...
The hearts they find together across the miles ...

Well, it just warms MY heart!

Thank you, Teri and Gina, for sharing your hearts!

I love it when one of my friends posts a heart by accident.
This desert cactus heart was posted by Diane ...
But I don't think she realized it was a plump little heart!

Diane's blog "Desert Colors" has proved to me that the desert, even in wintertime, is full of life, beauty, and (of course) hearts!

Thank you, Diane, for sharing your heart!

You all know Dani, right?
She's my heart-sister who lives in Macedonia, and goes to school in China.
Dani finds THE most amazing hearts!
She posts them on her blog, "A Lovely Home For Hearts" ... and posts her other wonderful photos on her blog "Snow Flowers".

Thank you, Dani, for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #66

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

When I first met my heart-sister Dani, she was living in her homeland of Macedonia ... but has spent the past 10 months or so going to school in China.

Dani is traveling back to Macedonia for the summer, and I can't wait to see the beauty (and hearts!) she finds along the way!

You can see Dani's found hearts at "A Lovely Home for Hearts" - and her beautiful and evocative life photography at "Snow Flowers".

Thank you, Dani, for sharing your heart!

I always thought the desert was barren and boring.
Diane has completely disabused me of this notion!!!
Now I can't wait to visit the desert someday - to see some of the stunning beauty that Diane finds and shares over at "Desert Colors" ... like this heart-shaped saguaro cactus bloom!

Thank you, Diane, for sharing the beauty of the desert ... and for sharing your heart!

Bhavesh is a wonderfully talented photographer from India, who shares the beauty and grandeur of his country on his "BLOG".

If I ever visit India, I will look up Bhavesh - and his wonderfully talented artist wife Megha ("Art on Sketchbook"). They have been such an inspiration to me!

Thank you, Bhavesh and Megha, for sharing your India ... and for sharing your hearts!

Another special space in my heart is held by Cheryl.
Cheryl is an amazing lady, who has inspired me from the very beginning of my first blog!

Cheryl has two blogs - "NOSTALGIA: Today and Yesterday", and "March to March". I love and appreciate her so much!!!

Thank you, Cheryl, for being YOU ... and for sharing your heart!

This week was a special one for one of my favorite blogging couples.
Abe and Patty celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary!!!

Both Abe and Patty have inspired me so much in my life ... to see what I mean, visit their blogs!
Abe shares pictures of his backyard birds at "My Birds Blog". Patty makes me laugh ... and think ... with the wonderful stories she shares over at "Old Lady Lincoln".

Congratulations, Abe and Patty, on 56 years of marriage ... and for "starting over" on #57!

And thank you for sharing your heart.

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #59

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Cindy over at "The Crafty Frugalista" made this 'hearty' pancake for her son - and there is a beautiful story behind this recipe that will make you smile.

Cindy is a wonderful artist, who makes the most beautiful cards ... and when you visit her blog, be sure to congratulate her - she's being published in the June 1st edition of "Take Ten" Magazine! Congratulations, Cindy!

And thank you for sharing your heart!

Karen over at "Pixel Posts" brought tears to my eyes with this beautiful carnation. Do you see the heart in the center?

There is more to this flower than meets the eye, however ... as Karen writes ...

"May is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness month in Canada. Every year the MS Carnation Campaign takes place in May to help raise funds and increase awareness. Carnations are sold on street corners, malls and other public spaces. The carnation is Canada's oldest and most recognized symbol of hope in the quest to end multiple sclerosis."

World wide, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) affects about 2.5 million people. Canadians have one of the highest rates of MS in the world. Karen is one of those Canadians. MS lasts a lifetime, and there is no cure.

Thank you, Karen, for sharing your heart ...
And for reminding us all of the fight to find a cure for MS.

If you ever thought Arizona was dry and boring, then you need to visit Diane's blog, "Desert Colors" - she will change your mind with her beautiful photography, and her love of her world.

Diane found this Staghorn Cholla cactus flower during a nature walk ... Do you see the two hearts? (hint: one is red, the other yellow!)

Thank you, Diane, for making me love the desert ... and for sharing your heart!

I met Sara only recently - when she linked up with last week's GHT. When I visited her blog, "Sara's Fave Photos Blog", I was delighted!

I especially love these African violets. Look at all of those delicate pink hearts!!!

Thank you, Sara, for sharing your hearts!

Costa's photos over at "Nature Digital" are stunning - and I look forward to each post! When you visit his blog, be sure to click on his pictures - what seems to be ordinary becomes magical. You'll see what I mean when you visit him!

And look what he came back with from his recent trip ... this beautiful heart!

Thank you, Costas, for delighting my world, and for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #43

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

I found "La Vie Quotidienne's" blog via a comment left at "Claudia's Blog". I believe it went something like "I have hearts on my blog today too". Of course the temptation was too great to resist, and off I went.

I couldn't have been more delighted, especially when I found this GORGEOUS handmade Valentine's bulletin board!

Thank you, La Vie Quotidienne, for sharing your hearts!
Thank you Claus, for your post on the history of the heart that led me here!

Robert's city, Athens, has gone through rough times lately.
His blog, "Daily Athens" hints at this.
But mostly Robert shows how he loves his city - through his beautiful photos and genuine words.

I don't think he realized he was sharing a heart when he posted this fabric knot - but he did!

Thank you, Robert, for sharing your city - and your heart.

And what can I say about Carmelina ... she can do it ALL!!!
She is an amazing artist, and you really need to go back through her blog, "Creative Carmelina", to get an idea of how talented and inspirational she is.

Sometimes, though, she also posts a heart - without realizing it!

Thank you, Carmelina, for the inspiration you are to me - and for sharing your heart!

I don't think Diane AZ realized she posted a great big blue heart on this beautiful Arizona landscape shot. But I noticed it right away, and I'm sure you will too!

If you love beautiful pictures of an amazing place, make sure you come to "Desert Colors" with some extra time on your hands - because you are going to want to stay for a long time!

Thank you, Diane, for sharing your world - and your heart!

Eric Dustrude's blog "365 Photos" is new to me. In fact, it was Sheryl over at "Astoria Oregon Daily Photo" who sent me the link to this amazing photo.

I spent a few minutes looking over Eric's blog - and found a wonderful photographer hard at work. He started his blog in 2009, intending to post photos for a year. Well, it's been more than a year and Eric is still going strong!

Thank you, Eric, for sharing your heart!
Thank you Sheryl for finding it!

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!
