Guest Heart Thursday #187

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

Just a note ... Guest Heart Thursday will be "open"** Thanksgiving morning!
With a special "Thank You" Edition!
**(Not to be confused with some local retail stores which are also "open" on Thanksgiving ... and which I will be avoiding at all costs - just my own personal pet peeve)

Leave it to Beth to find the hearts in this darling Thanksgiving postcard - which you can find over at "The Best Hearts Are Crunchy"!

Beth hosts "Postcard Friendship Friday", a fun meme for postcards - I will try to post again this week, sissie, maybe after work tomorrow!

Thank you, dear Sissie, for sharing your heart!

Dorothy is another friend who finds hearts on postcards. I am constantly amazed at the totally appropriate cards she shares from her collection!

You can check out Dorothy's delightful blog - "Coffeedoff's CoffeeBreak" to see more!

Thank you, Dorothy, for sharing your heart!

I am so incredibly thankful to have heard from Maria - "Connections to the World"- after the typhoon in The Philippines. I apologize for misspelling "Manila"! Maria is physically okay (thank God!) - but the emotional scars will take a long time to heal. We need to continue to do what we can to help the beautiful people of The Philippines - even if that is simply to show our love, prayer, and encouragement.

Thank you, Maria, for sharing your heart!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!!!

Guest Heart Thursday #173

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

When I found this tiny random heart on a search engine, I just had to share it - and Amber's blog, "Amber's Ambry". I so much enjoyed visiting - and especially enjoyed visiting her garden!

Thank you, Amber, for sharing your heart!

If you haven't visited Maria's "Connections to the World", you are missing out. Not only is her postcard blog fun, but Maria herself is a truly sweet person - a wonderful friend; and an inspiration to me!

Thank you, Maria, for sharing your heart!

"My Random Hearts" caught my eye - of course - as I was surfing a bit the other day. When I visited, I fell in love with this blog, and it's author - "Flamboyant Wallflower". I hope to spend more time getting acquainted in the near future!

Thank you, Flamboyant Wallflower, for sharing your heart!

Susannah has been an inspiration to me for so long ... I love visiting her blog, "Wanderin' Weeta (With Waterfowl and Weeds)". When she came across this moth with a heart, I knew I had to share it. Because I see at least 4 hearts here! How many do YOU see???

Thank you, Susannah, for sharing your heart!

And I totally fell in love with this heart Tina posted on her blog, "Tina's PicStory". Tina is another amazing blogging friend, who has inspired me immensely!

Thank you, Tina, for sharing your heart!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!!!

Guest Heart Thursday #161

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

I just love it when Master links up a heart quote.
Like this one ... it's GORGEOUS!

To check out Master's cool quotes, visit "My Coolest Quotes".
You'll love it too!!!

Thank you, Master, for sharing your heart!

Maria, over at "Connections to the World" receives postcards from all over the world.

I love how she documents each with who sent it, where it came from, how long it took to reach her, and how many miles it traveled.

But most of all, I love Maria's writing.
She makes me smile.

Thank you, Maria, for sharing your heart!

Dorothy also collects postcards, and posts them twice a week on her blog, "Coffeedoff's Coffeebreak".

I am constantly amazed at the postcards Dorothy finds ...
I have no idea how she finds such unique and awesome hearts!!!

Thank you, Dorothy, for sharing your heart!

I would like to give a special "THANK YOU" to my daughter, Georgia.

She has been saving for months to get me a special birthday gift ...
a camera.

Yep, a brand spanking new camera (Nikon D3200).
I've never had a new camera before - my old ones were all purchased at pawn shops.

I am still getting used to this new toy ...
But I would like to dedicate this "first Nikon heart" to Georgia.

Thank you, Georgia, for giving from your heart.
To mine.

P.S. - Yep, today really is my birthday.
I'm 52 years old ...
And I've earned EVERY SINGLE ONE of these gray hairs!!!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!!!

Guest Heart Thursday #15

Costas of Nature Digital is out of town for a couple of weeks.
Therefore, I am using one of his pictures, um, without his written permission. Shhhh!
Sorry Costas ... I sincerely hope you don't mind! You see, a beautiful collared dove
made a nest just outside his window. We have followed with him the miracle of
their lives so far. His most recent post showed these adorable little birds -
One of which has a heart on it's back!

If you haven't checked out Nature Digital,
you are missing out on some of the best photography in the world.
Costas lives in Greece, and shares his travels around his country.
At first glance, you see beautiful photos.

You must click on each and every photo to enlarge ...
What you will find is ... MAGIC!!!!!

Beth's blog Unexpected Spots of Beauty is truly a joy.
She sees the world a little differently - sort of like the rest of us heart finders!
For example, she found this beautiful heart in a piece of driftwood ... most people would have just walked on by!

Dani is an amazing person - warm, kind and generous.
She also sees the world a little differently ...
I think she fits right in!
I mean ... how many people would find the heart
in the torn blanket - even when it was hanging right in front of them???

Thank you so much Dani, you make my world a brighter place!
You can share in Dani's world by visiting her blog, Snow Flowers.

I met Maria last week when she submitted this beautiful Pansie heart.
Her blog, Little Things Photoblogatory, is delightful! I thoroughly enjoyed visiting!
Thank you, Maria!

My friend and adopted sister, Grannie Annie (AKA Sissie-Dea), is an amazing artist.
She has been creating collages for some time now (check them out at her blog - Ann Noir) ...
and each one steals my heart!
That's why I just HAD to steal her heart to show to the world!

I love you, Sissie-Dea! My sister-of-different-parents!
I'm so honored and blessed to have met you and gotten to know you through blogging!
You are indeed a treasure of MY HEART.

If you have found a heart (or drawn a heart, or designed a heart, or ...), please join us for Guest Heart Thursday. Just link the URL of your heart to Linky!
The link will be open from Thursday morning until Sunday night.
