Guest Heart Thursday #118

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

You may know Deann as "Grannie Annie" ...
If you love digital art, you should visit her blog, "The Whimsey Asylum".
Her work will inspire you.
Her sense of humor will make you giggle.
Her friendship will make you warm.

Thank you, Deann, for being my friend ... and for sharing your heart!

Jill has the best job in the world (according to me!). She is a field biologist, and travels the United States in search of nature.
And boy does she find it!!!

Jill's photography is exquisite, and you can find it - and more! - over at her wonderful blog, "Count Your Chicken! We're Taking Over!"

Thank you, Jill, for sharing your heart!

Pam is another wonderful friend, who captures the beauty of her world, which is near the ocean in Florida. Sigh.
When I need to relax at the ocean, or enjoy the peace of the natural world, I visit Pam. Her blog, "Nature Whispers" - whispers to my soul, and delights my heart.

Thank you, Pam, for being such a wonderful friend ... and for sharing your heart!

I found Rae by following a comment she left on Robert's "Daily Athens Photo" blog.

What I found was Rae's wonderful blog, "Perth and Other Places" - I love the beauty she finds in beautiful Australia - like this wonderful mural. If you enlarge the photo, you will even find hearts!!!

Thank you, Rae, for sharing Australia - and your heart!

Siga's blog, "My Canary Life" is a joy.
Her beautiful photos, along with the always-perfect quotes she usually adds, are spectacular - and make me long to visit her world for myself!!!

Thank you, Siga, for sharing your Island ... and your heart!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #73

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

I love Jill's work. She is a phenomenal photographer, with the best job in the world!
When you want to see nature at it's best, just visit her at "Count Your Chicken! We're Taking Over!". Gorgeousness overload!!!

Do you see the heart in the clouds? Be sure to enlarge the photo - and look for the 'heart where the cloud isn't'!

Thank you, Jill, for sharing your world - and your heart!

Louis did it again - here's another backwoods Southern California heart!
Louis doesn't have internet at home, and sends me the occasional found heart via e-mail.

Sometimes I wonder if Louis doesn't have the right idea!!!

Thank you, my friend, for sharing your heart!

When Gypsy Lala posted this heart, I smiled - I LOVE creativity like this!
What a wonderful heart! Be sure to visit "Just Capture ... When It Happens" - for a fun place to warm your heart.

Thank you, Gypsy Lala, for sharing your heart!

Dani went on vacation for a couple of weeks, and I do believe this photo is from that vacation. I immediately fell in love with the glowing cloud heart. It takes my breath away!

Dani is my heart-sister, and shares the hearts that find her on her blog "A Lovely Home For Hearts". She shares bits and pieces of her life on her blog "Snow Flowers".

Dani is soon to be traveling back to school in China (she has been home in Macedonia for the summer break).
My heart will be going with you, my friend-sister!

Thank you, Dani, for sharing your heart.

Several people (thank you, thank you!) sent me a link to Charlene's blog "My Nature Photography", where she had posted a series of shots from Storforsen Camping, Alvysbyn, Sweden - including this perfect heart-shaped pothole. When I went to visit her, I was caught by her description of her world ... "To be with nature is like being in the arms of the Creator who, in His loving-care, put all these lovely things around us to
lift our spirits."

Thank you, Charlene, for lifting our spirits ... and for sharing your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - a huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #60

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

Susannah over at "Wanderin' Weeta (With Waterfowl and Weeds)" finds beauty in things most of us would overlook - like a couple of (possible) puffball mushrooms growing on an old log.

Do you see the hearts? There is one on each of the shrooms ...
Look carefully!

Thank you Susannah for being a huge inspiration in my life ... and for sharing your hearts!

I love visiting Perry's blog "My World" - his photography is wonderful!

Perry found this beautiful heart in the landscaping near his office.
I find myself wondering if someone planted the heart on purpose, or if they were aiming for a different shape entirely ... I love the thought of an accidental heart!

Thank you, Perry, for sharing your heart!

My brother and his kids were cleaning up Dad's pond, catching newts to re-release into the wild (they tend to eat the fish eggs, which makes Dad crazy!).

That's when he came running to the house, telling me to bring my camera -- because he had found an unusual heart.

Sure enough, one of the lily pad leaves was curled up ... into a heart!!!

Thank you, Bro, for sharing your heart!

Lyneen's blog has one of the best titles around - "I am Dreaming of Castles".
My imagination soars whenever I visit her there!

And look what Lyneen found floating high above her castle ...
A beautiful blue sky heart!

Thank you, Lyneen, for sharing your heart!

"Count Your Chicken! We're Taking Over!" is another favorite place for me to visit.
Jill has THE best job in the WORLD!!!
I am so jealous!
Once you visit her, you'll understand why I say this.

Jill took this picture of the moon on a cloudy night - she was surprised it turned out.
Well not only did it turn out, but look at that beautiful glowing heart she found just below the moon!

Thank you, Jill, for sharing your world ... and your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #51

,
Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR heart!

When Rachel over at "Art+Food+Friends" visited the Denver Art Museum, she found many fun and beautiful things. But the most wonderful of all (in MY opinion!) was Mary's stunningly creative heart ... at the interactive light display!

Thank you, Rachel (and Mary!), for sharing your heart!

This beautiful hanging moss heart is very special to me ... Lois over at "Tallahassee Daily Photo" posted it ... a long time ago. This is how I met her!

Lois is part of the "City Daily Photo" group that is so much fun - and I appreciate her so much!

Thank you, Lois, for sharing your heart ...
Which led me to you!

Back before Guest Heart Thursday, my sister Beth and I had a friendly challenge ... involving hearts of course!

Beth had gone to the beach, and look at the, um "interesting" heart photo she brought back for me.

Elk dung!
Gee thanks, Beth!

You can check out Beth's amazing artwork at "Beth's Artworx" ... and her stunning photography at "Expect the Unexpected".

Thank you, sissie, for sharing your heart - ALWAYS!

Dani is my soul sister.
After all, how many people can boil something in a pot ... and find a heart!
Dani is a wonderful friend and fellow heart-seeker, and you can find her (aside from going to China where she is living now!) over at her blogs ... "Snow Flowers" and "A Lovely Home For Hearts"!

Thank you, Dani, for being my friend, for your inspiration, and for sharing your hearts!

Jill is an amazing photographer ... with the best job in the world! To find out what she gets to do every day, check out her blog "Count Your Chicken! We're Taking Over!"

I'll give you a hint ... it involves critters. Like these cute little marbled salamanders - who together make an adorable heart.

Thank you, Jill, for sharing your beautiful world ... and your heart!

One world. One people. One heart.

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #47

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday
A place to share YOUR heart!

When Texwisgirl sent me a link to Becky and Gary over at "Woodynook Creations", I could hardly believe my eyes ... Do you see what I see?
Lots and lots of hearts on this beautiful starling they posted for World Bird Wednesday last week!

Thank you Becky and Gary for sharing your hearts,
And thank YOU Texwisgirl for finding them!

Jill's photos always make me smile, especially this one.
A tiny critter had trudged through the sand, leaving it's heart behind!

Thank you, Jill, for sharing your heart ... and for having one of the most unique blog names around - "Count Your Chicken! We're Taking Over!"

Sunny over at "Barnyard and Barnacles" makes me smile with every post. She leads a busy life, and has been looking for hearts for a while.

I have a surprise for Sunny ... there are hearts in unexpected places ... if you look close enough!
Do you see the hearts in Sunny's picture?
Check the wing of the bee ...
And the petals of the flower ...
They may be faint, but they are there!!!

Thank you, Sunny, for brightening my days, and for sharing your heart!

Tammie Lee's photography is some of the best I've ever seen. Her blog "Spirithelpers" combines this photography with poetry that makes me smile ... and sometimes even brings me to tears. I appreciate her so much!

You don't have to look very hard to find the heart in this shot, but it may take you a while simply because you will probably become lost in the rugged beauty of this mountain!

Thank you, Tammie Lee, for sharing your heart!

Tammie Lee has another side ... we know she is a wonderful photographer, and a gifted writer ... well she is also an amazing ARTIST!!!

Check out Tammie Lee's art at her blog "Beauty Flows".
Because beauty DOES flow here, you will see!

Thank you, Tammie Lee, for sharing your heart!

Guest Heart Thursday #45

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A place to share YOUR hearts!

Jeannette is an artist who lives in Costa Mesa, California, US ... who has traveled all over the world. She has a doctorate in psychology (Psy.D.) which is impressive - but more impressive to me is the beauty she finds in the world - in photos, words and in her paintings.

Jeannette shares her world in her blog "Mysteries". To see her amazing artwork, visit her other blog "Art Notes". You won't be disappointed!

Thank you, my dear friend, for sharing your world - and your heart!

You may know her as "Johnny Nutcase", but her real name is Jill, and her blog, "Count Your Chicken! We're Taking Over!" is full of the beauty she finds in her world.

Jill is a seasonal field biologist who travels the backroads of the US with her husband Zac in search of the natural world - documenting and photographing what she finds.

Like this beautiful cactus heart.

Thank you, Jill, for sharing your love of nature, your amazing photography, and your heart.
I am in awe of you guys!

Ebie found this beautiful heart at a place called "Salvation Mountain" in Niland, California. It is actually etched and painted on an old junked car!

I hope you take the time to visit Ebie over at "Deranged Insanity" - her blog is wonderful!

Thank you, Ebie, for sharing your heart.
P.S. - I love the "E" - I think it must have been made just for you!

I can't say enough about James over at "Newtown Area Photo". He has completely changed the way I look at the world through his meme "Weekend Reflections".

James probably didn't realize it when he took this wonderful reflection self-portrait, but take a look under his left armpit. It's a HEART!!!

Thank you, James, for being an inspiration to so many of us reflections fans - and thank you for sharing this heart!

I don't get to see my sister-in-law, Bert, very often. It seems I'm always on the go when I stop by her place. Sigh.

But look what Bert found outside the door of her apartment manager's place.
A PERFECT heart!

Thank you Bert, for being such a wonderful lady - and for sharing your heart!

As always - huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing all of the delightful hearts you found in your world!

Guest Heart Thursday #22

It has been raining here off and on for the past week.
Not the best BBQ weather.
My brother, Darren, is the BBQ King - rain was not stopping him!
As the grill got hot and dried off, he called me over.
To see the heart he had found!

Thank you, bro, for sharing this heart!

One of my favorite flower hearts comes from Squirrel Queen. Her blog, Through Squirrel Eyes, is one of my favorite places to visit.
Can you believe she found this gorgeous golden glowing heart in her own garden?

Thank you, SQ, for sharing this gorgeous heart.

I have featured Jill's squirrel eating m&m heart before.
But I felt it needed to be shown again -
How can anyone resist such an adorable little critter?

Jill is a field biologist, who has to have THE best job on the face of the planet.
Check out her blog, "Count Your Chicken, We're Taking Over" if you don't believe me!

Thank you, Jill, for sharing this amazing heart - again.

Jay Leigh over at Pacific Northwest Nature For Families is amazing.
She is a homeschooler, and she and her kids have made Guest Heart part of her life in a way that gives me goosebumps - she takes her kids out looking for hearts - as a nature lesson.
Jay Leigh, I admire you!

Thank you so much for sharing your heart!
And your life with us.

And I absolutely LOVE the way Bhavesh Chhatbar of Chaukhat.com found the heart in this banana peel. Bhavesh is best known for Wednesday Wallpaper, where he provides some of his AMAZING photographs as computer wallpaper.

Thank you, Bhavesh (and Megha!), for sharing your heart!

Guest Heart Thursday #16

I remember when Cheryl over at Nostalgia: Today and Yesterday found this frozen heart so long ago.
I hadn't known her very long ...
My first follower, other than Sissie Beth, of course.

Cheryl - You have given me such joy - traveling with you to places I have never been, driving on roads I will probably never travel myself. And enjoying every minute of each journey!

Thank you.

And look at the heart Susannah, er, Wanderin' Weeta - found when she took a delightful series of a chickadee family taking a bath!

Susannah, from British Columbia, Canada, is amazing. She finds nature's tiniest treasures - and makes them bold and beautiful - so the rest of us can learn to look down and marvel.

Thank you, Susannah!

And if you're lovin' on Florida ... look no further than Pam's wonderful Southern Journeys.
Pam's gentle and kind character are so very evident in her posts, and in her sweet comments.

I think even the ocean loves her - after all, it gave her this beautiful emerald green heart!!!

Thank you, Pam!

If you haven't been over to Tracy's wonderful blog Hey Harriet, then you probably don't know that she hosts Shadow Shot Sunday. This is where we share the shadows we have found during the week ... and WOW, there are some amazing ones out in the world!

In between times, Tracy treats us to wonderful views and insights into life in Australia.

I couldn't help but notice this heart and beautiful message that Tracy found last week at The Bicycle Revolution - where she also found her amazing shadow shots for the week!

Thank you, Tracy, not only for Shadow Shot Sunday, which changes the way we see the world, but for finding the beauty of the heart.

Thank you, Tracy!

Jill has to be one of the luckiest people on the face of the planet.
Her office has the best views.
She is doing what she loves, and she loves what she's doing.
And she gets to take her husband Zac with her!

Jill is a 'nomadic field biologist', who delights us with her blog Count your Chicken! We're Taking over!

Thank you, Jill! This is one of the most adorable hearts I've seen!

A huge thank you to all who participated in Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing the awesome hearts you found!
