Surprise Snow ... and a Heart

Here in western Oregon we don't get much snow ... usually a flurry in December or January ... so last Wednesday's Springtime snow storm took us all by surprise!

It didn't last long, but it was a welcome change from the rain.

As the snow melted, I found this heart left behind.

snow that doesn't last long is the best kind. great for pictures but not much of an inconvience.

A snow heart is a lovely heart to find. I found a few this winter as well.

Lovely find you've got here, Clytie. Thanks for sharing. I myself was very glad not to see any snow except what blew from on top of cars as they passed my bus stop.
