The Last Heart ...

The big machines have been munching away at "The Abandoned" for over a month now. What was once a huge mega-church complex made of poured-in-place concrete and rebar is now just several gigantic piles of rubble, and a few large holes (like where the swimming pool used to be) ...

I found this small piece of graffiti-covered broken concrete in the debris, and knew it was probably one of the last hearts I would find in this huge demolition site.

But you never know where hearts will appear!
And I will keep looking.
Always.

Seek and ye shall find, so true of you and your heart search.

I liked how you described the big machines munching away at the buildings. It made me feel hungry. LOL

I love this little heart...and who knows what surprises we'll find there in The Abandoned. After all...the magic is not all gone.

(grin)

You are so right Cea you never know where a heart will appear...that's why I am grateful for people like you who make me stop and count my blessing and see the hearts, you are a true gem my sister friend...to quote Pink Floyd "Shine On Crazy Diamond!"

I'm so glad I decided to visit you this week, this is a great post.I love the graffiti-ish nature of it and I love the way you find these hearts! I want to feature it this Thursday on my blog as part of a new project I'm doing. I hope that's ok!
