Easter Sunrise ...

A special Easter sunrise heart ...
Captured from my front door this morning.

Happy Easter to all ...
May your heart be blessed today.

Picnic Table Hearts

The picnic table under the trees has been mostly quiet through the winter.

The hearts carved since it was painted last spring seem stark and cold.

Waiting for a new coat of springtime paint ...
Which may or may not erase them completely.

Guest Heart Thursday #155

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

Don't you love this amazing shot?
I do too!
This beautiful heart was posted by Halie on her blog, "Life, the way I see it".
I love Halie's words too ...
"A butterfly with its wings spread wide makes me thankful that I have eyes to see the beauty unfurling before my eyes. Life is filled with different beautiful things and the only thing that we need to do is open our eyes and look around to what mother nature is showing to us."

Thank you, Halie, for sharing your heart!

And look at the amazing heart Jill found - reminding me of a completely different season ... with it's own beauty ... and hearts.

I haven't had a chance to visit Jill's blog, "Chillin' with Jill" much - my computer is still having "issues" - but I am looking forward to spending a bunch of time getting to know her as soon as I can!

Thank you, Jill, for sharing your heart!

Another blog I am looking forward to visiting a little longer is "Island Wonder" - where this beautiful leaf heart is a simple reminder of just how amazing and gorgeous Hawaii is!

Thank you, Island Wonder, for sharing your heart!

This beautiful photo was posted by Ankush over at "Life Beyond Boredom".
And the accompanying poem completely captured my heart!

When love is in the air,
I close my eyes,
I curl myself,
Bring my arms together.

In the envelope of my arms,
I smell your body,
I touch your soul,
I hear your breath.

And then our dreams mingle,
Our feet become one,
We dance,
We dance on the beats of our loving heart...

Thank you, Ankush, for sharing your heart!

Don't you just love this adorable postcard?
I smile every time I see it!

If you love postcards and stamps, be sure to visit Maria Kristina on her blog, "Connections to the World" - she has some of the best!

Thank you, Kristina, for sharing your heart!

Guest Heart Thursday #154

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

I will always be thankful that I met Susannah through her blog, "Wanderin' Weeta (With Waterfowl and Weeds)".

Susannah taught me to see the tiny beauty that surrounds me ... to flip over a rock and document what lives there ... to appreciate nature even more fully.

Sussannah posted this picture sometime ago, calling these "angry pansies".
They do look kind of angry, don't they?
They also have hearts!

Susannah also posted this amazing shot of an anemone.
Do you see the tiny shell heart near the top?

Thank you, Susannah, for sharing your hearts!

Laura's rock and leaf heart stole MY heart.
I am in awe of this shot!

Laura is one of the most amazing people I've had the privilege of calling "friend".

When you read her blog, "Shine the Divine: Creativity IS a Spiritual Practice", you will know why I love her!

Thank you, Laura, for sharing your heart!

Pamela sent me this heart in an e-mail - she hasn't posted to her blog, "Dum Spiro Spero" in a long time.
She found this heart in a cypress knee at the Francis Beidler Audubon Swamp in Harleyville, SC.
And I am in awe.
Thank you, again, Pamela, for sharing your heart!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!!!

Another Demolition Heart

I walked alone amidst the rubble ...

And found I wasn't really alone after all.

I carried in my heart ...

All of YOU!

(This heart is exactly as I found it - I only lightened the background to make it pop out a bit more)

Guest Heart Thursday #153

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

I am always in awe of what "Junkin' Jane" posts on her blog.
Everything she does inspires me!!!
So when she posted a series of handmade bears ... I was intrigued.
When I found out what they are made from, I was ENTRANCED!
And look - this one has a little red heart!!!

Be sure to visit "Junkin' Jane" to find out what makes this gorgeous little bear so very special!

And thank you, Jane, for sharing your heart!

I have featured JM before - his blog, "Lisbon and the Sunny Coast" is one of my favorite virtual-vacation destinations!

And sometimes he posts hearts - like the ones in this interesting graffiti ...

Thank you again, JM, for sharing your heart!

Denise (AKA "Pearmama") is amazing.
And I don't use that word lightly!
I don't know how she finds time for herself in her busy days
of being a mother, an activist, an artist, a teacher ...
But she seems to thrive - with a humor and grace that keep me coming back to her blog to read more!!!

Thank you, Pearmama, for sharing your heart!

As always - a huge thank you to all who linked up with Guest Heart Thursday last week. I loved seeing the delightful and amazing hearts you found in your world!!!

Flakey Heart Surprise

I saw the blue heart first -

It wasn't until I enlarged the shot that I found the second little heart just around the corner of the bolt!

Shadowy Heart

On a cloudy day it was just another splotch of mud amidst the debris of The Abandoned.

On this rare sunny day, it became a shadowy heart!

Light Sparkle Heart

Sometimes my camera takes crappy photos.
(ahem, yes, I am blaming the camera, not the photographer!)
(snicker)

Sometimes my camera surprises me ... and what I thought was a crappy photo is in reality a work of art ... or, in this case, a sparkling star ... and a glowing heart reflected in the early morning dew.

Guest Heart Thursday #152

Welcome to Guest Heart Thursday -
A Place to Share YOUR Heart!

(My computer is still limping along ... it is amusing me with hard drive sound effects that are a cross between a sick donkey and my coffee maker ... but has only frozen up twice this morning so far! So I will make this post short and VERY sweet!!!)

Once again "Texwisgirl" sent me a link to a most amazing heart!

This one was posted by Laura on her blog "Pretty Pix".

I can't wait to be able to visit and spend more time here!

Thank you, Laura, for sharing your heart!
Thank you, once again, Texwisgirl, for sharing the link!

I love seeing artwork being created - so when Rachel posted this Work in Progress on her blog, "Memories of Mine to Thine" ... I couldn't resist sharing it!
And I will (computer willing, of course) be checking back to see the completed piece!

Thank you, Rachel, for sharing your heart!

Pamela's blog, "Dum Spiro Spero" was one of the first blogs I ever followed.
I fell in love with her amazing writing talent (the first post I read made me cry) ... then with her amazing and unquenchable spirit.

Pamela hasn't posted on her blog for a while, but she did send me some hearts she found during her travels ... (I actually see several hearts here - do you?)

Thank you, Pamela, for sharing your heart!
