(My computer is still working ... barely. I just have to spend a lot more time babying the silly thing ... I can't wait to see the hearts you find in your world ... even if I am unable to leave a comment, please know that I have been there!!!)

Sissie and I used to walk "The Abandoned" together.

 Back when it was first built in the 1970s ...

In its first life as a Rehabilitation Center ...

And it's next life as a mega-church ...

Then when it became abandoned ...

And vandalized ...

And now with the demolition begun.

Soon only memories remain.

 Memories of good times ... and hearts.

I love how she found, in this rock, a heart she didn't know was there when she took the shot.

But in order to see it, you have to enlarge the shot ... and find the perfect heart "engraved" near the top right side of the red rock.

I should have started earlier ...

But I got up a little late.

How could I have known this morning was going to be "one of those"?

That my computer would pick today to glitch out like crazy?

It took an hour to load the GHT badge.

The noises from within my hard drive have gone from annoying to alarming ...

And everything freezes up every couple of minutes.

Sigh.

 I am thankful that I still have a computer - while it lasts. My daughter says she has an old hard drive she will try to clean out (wipe and restore) that I can use until I can afford a new one. At least she THINKS it still works!!! Yay!!!

In the meantime, I have run out of time to upload guest hearts for you to visit today - I had no idea it would take me this long to get this far - and I really do have to go get ready for work.

So thank you all for sharing your HEARTS!!!

I just know when Texwisgirl sends me a link ... that I will find a special heart.

Well in this case I found two!

Plus I got to visit Arizona on a road trip with Deanna via her blog, "A Photographic Journal".

There, I saw a bunch of hearts in this delicate spring wildflower.

And THEN ...

I saw the twin hearts Deanna found in the tail feathers of this beautiful cactus wren ...

And all I can say is WOW.

The picnic table under the trees has been mostly quiet through the winter.

The hearts carved since it was painted last spring seem stark and cold.

Waiting for a new coat of springtime paint ...

Which may or may not erase them completely.

I will always be thankful that I met Susannah through her blog, "Wanderin' Weeta (With Waterfowl and Weeds)".

Flakey Heart Surprise

I saw the blue heart first -
