A Hearty Walk With Sissie
Last weekend my sister Beth and I went for a long walk in the woods. What fun we had tramping through the "playgrounds" of our growing-up years. Hearts were everywhere that day, some captured on film, some not.
Oh, Sissie--I had such a good time--I wish I could have caught a picture of you standing in the middle of the road to take this heart picture! (guffaw) But the traffic coming up the hill from around the corner caused you to beat a hasty retreat. Darn!
"Though life may try to trodden, flatten and change us, our Heart and Soul remains!"
Why hearts?
Because random hearts are everywhere! In nature, in coffee, in piles of trash. In fact, finding hearts is very addictive. The more you find, the more you see. I hope you come to the place where you can't help but notice the hearts of YOUR world!
As life changes, I find myself far from what my dreams had imagined. Reality has found me caring for my elderly mom who is sliding deeper into Alzheimers ... every day has become a unique challenge. The best I can do is to try to life as normal as possible for those around me.

My sissy--I do so enjoy our walks. (Grin)
The things we will do for a blog picture! I have stood in the middle of the road before and scared myself a couple of times.
Ooh...I just love your fuzzy little heart...both of them.
I did not even see the stump heart--I was too busy taking pictures of it from the side--as a castle with a crop of hair on top!
This picture is gorgeous, Sissy! I didn't even notice it at first, because my computer didn't pull it up right away! ((hugs))
please come by my blog and get your award :)
