what girl wouldn't want to have her beloved truly make his mark of love for all to see? this is so tender...hope the young lover still has his companion by his side!
"Though life may try to trodden, flatten and change us, our Heart and Soul remains!"
Why hearts?
Because random hearts are everywhere! In nature, in coffee, in piles of trash. In fact, finding hearts is very addictive. The more you find, the more you see. I hope you come to the place where you can't help but notice the hearts of YOUR world!
As life changes, I find myself far from what my dreams had imagined. Reality has found me caring for my elderly mom who is sliding deeper into Alzheimers ... every day has become a unique challenge. The best I can do is to try to life as normal as possible for those around me.

Wondering how old that is and how long it's been there? Yet still it's hanging on.
Very nice find, you are a very keen observer!
I always wonder about the story behind a carved heart.
A 'good find', Clytie.

I bet they do remember--someone near and dear to me a long time ago carved one into a tree for me. I still remember...
