Someone had knocked this bird's nest to the ground ...
Fortunately, the birds were already long gone.
I still felt a little sad ... until I noticed that the center of the bird's nest was shaped like a heart! Do you see it?
FRIEND UPDATE: My friend Nadine's husband Wally, who underwent brain surgery 4 times in the past 2 weeks, is FINALLY done with surgery ... the problems corrected ... in fact - he got out of the hospital last night! He was not expected to get out for up to another week, but he got well so fast, they sent him home early!!!
Thank you all for your prayers and healing thoughts for Wally.
IT WORKED!!!

What a lovely heart, it is always a bit sad to see an empty bird's nest.
I cannot imagine how difficult it must have been to undergo that many surgeries in such a short time. Wishing Wally a speedy recovery.
What a sweet little nest! I hope the birds were finished using it before it got knocked to the ground. Happy to hear the good news about your friends husband.
I love that nest!! It seems more ragged than the one I found last week, less mud applied to the inside to smooth the walls out, but it is so wonderful with the heart shape!
You found a true love nest! So happy Wally is ahead of schedule; may he continue to heal.
Great heart for great news.
Really happy to hear this. May heart healing be with him.
