Bark Hearts
I found a heart in a piece of tree bark left beside the road. Only later did I realize that there is another smaller heart tucked right alongside it ... close to it's heart.
"Though life may try to trodden, flatten and change us, our Heart and Soul remains!"
Why hearts?
Because random hearts are everywhere! In nature, in coffee, in piles of trash. In fact, finding hearts is very addictive. The more you find, the more you see. I hope you come to the place where you can't help but notice the hearts of YOUR world!
As life changes, I find myself far from what my dreams had imagined. Reality has found me caring for my elderly mom who is sliding deeper into Alzheimers ... every day has become a unique challenge. The best I can do is to try to life as normal as possible for those around me.

Wow--that is SO cool--how do wood worms know to draw hearts??? And there are three of 'em. One big, one tiny, and the other is white and upside down!
Cool Photo, Sissyboo!
I really love the little heart tucked so close to the big one. That's a piece of bark? Yikes, what kind of tree did THAT come from? a wonder
tree???
Actually I think it was a Douglas Fir -- probably around 40 years old. Some of the old growth (logged off in the 40's)had bark that was over 6" thick!
