Aluminum Door

I am so surprised I haven't seen this heart before.
I have seen this door every day.
I have slammed this door.
I have opened and closed this door.
I have scrubbed this door.

And still I missed the heart!

Until yesterday, when I looked down in just the right light ...
And there it was.

Waiting for me all this time!

It's all a matter how the light falls on it, isn't it? Glad you "saw" it!

And you, Clytie, light up my world with your hearts! The ABC gum one made me laugh out loud. Thank you!

Funny how the right light reveals the heart, eh? That's really profound, Sissy. And the photo is truly amazing. WOW!

I believe there are many things in our lives that we don't see until the time is right.
That we fail to notice all the little blessings in our lives until they are illuminated by need.
Your art is such a great metaphor for those blessings. The blessings of God are always with us if we just take the time to notice...just like your hearts.
I love it...and you.
