Displaced Moss Heart

Someone went along the path,
Bent on destruction.
They scraped away bits of moss,
Stomped them to the ground.

I found this piece of moss on the steps,
Roots in the air.

A perfect heart.

Then I picked it up,
And returned it to its home.

It's amazing how things try to grow through cement or paved streets. Hope you've had a delightful week-end.

I am so sorry I have been so behind..
So much going on and I don't want to be depressing so I wont post all of the sad happenings.. life goes on.
So happy you are here to cheer us all up too.

What a lovely story, Sissy--there's a lyrical magic to both picture and words.

They touch me.
