A Rusty Heart for Owen

I don't usually dedicate hearts to anyone, though I have on occasion.
This is one such occasion, because ...
This is where I concede to Owen
over at Magic Lantern Show ...
That his rhododendrons are better than mine.

When I say better, I mean they are taller.
And older.
And Owen definitely showed way more dedication to finding his ... a three hour hike through the woods!!! I just had to walk across the street to the abandoned church ...

Everything else about our rhodies is a tie!

So ... Owen, this abandoned and rusty heart is for you.
I certainly enjoy your blog - I especially love your sense of humor.
Thank you for making me smile.
Thank you for making me laugh.

Oh, and thanks for the mention of Random Nature!
It made my day.

A lovely heart! I saw a heart shaped puddle at the golf course yesterday. But I didn't have my camera. :( I thought of you though, I hope that counts for something!

Very fun blog, I am a heart lover too. I have a large metal one in my garden, and I just did an entry about some strawberry hearts I found this morning, thanks ! Gina

It's nice visiting to see new hearts and to know your heart is always here!

That is the prettiest rust I have ever seen!

it's okay if he won, well, that you conceded...perhaps just like his rhodies, he is also taller and older ;) your rusty heart is still a very kind gesture, showing off your kindness and good naturedness, too! the heart was very cool!

I adore your rusty heart, Sissy--it is beautiful--and I mean that in every sense of the word.

I love your old rusty heart Sissy Cea...it reminds me of my own which I am sure has more then a little rust collected here and there. But like most things that are old and rusty they have a beauty all their own...kind of like the Velveteen Rabbit they have been loved.
