Independence Rock Heart

My sister and I took a walk along the Willamette River in Independence, Oregon last weekend. The winter/spring rains have taken their toll on the riverbanks ... yet the erosion has a bright side - it gave me this heart!

Independence is known for it's 4th of July celebrations ... complete with parade and fireworks. I can't wait until this weekend!

I am so happy you have something special planned for the 4th. I'm a fireworks freak myself I just can't get enough. You and Sissy have a wonderful holiday and eat some watermelon for me.
Nice heart by the way...you always find the good ones. Love you.
