Yesterday's blurry feathery shadowy heart wasn't the only accidental heart that found it's way into my camera ... when I was trying to capture the beautiful little bird that was serenading me, I came across this striking lichen heart - in the same tree!

I love finding hearts while editing my photos- this is great!
I'm usually into bright, shocking colors, but the shade of gray/white of this lichen is so beautiful. I don't get why I'm so mesmerized by it. haha.
