At the Playground
When I find a carved 'tree heart', my imagination starts on a journey ... I wonder who carved it; was their sweetheart with them? Did their 'happily ever after' ever happen? Maybe it was a little girl, bored with playing on the swings, who decided to draw a simple heart. Does she remember?
I wonder if, years from now, the person(s) who carved this heart will return. Will the heart tree still be there?
I wonder ...

It's heart to say! Sorry I couldn't resist. I love this photo, it brought back memories of long ago when love was young.
Sunny :)
When we were little, my parents would take us for walks in the woods. I remember finding an old beach tree and my Dad carving our initials in the tree. We'd go back every year to see how it changed. Thank you for inspiring memories and crating new ones... I'd like to think this was from young love wanting to last forever in time. Thank you for sharing your Heart(s) with us. Love and Light, Nina P
I remember carving hearts into tree trunks...
What a lovely picture, Sissy! Nina is right--this photo inspires memories from long ago.
I, too am grateful for the gift of hearts you've been given. What a wonderful WONDERFUL gift it is!
