A Butterfly and a Thistle Flower Heart

As I walked the abandoned church property, a great many flutters caught my eye.
Of the many swallowtail butterflies I saw sipping from the blackberry flowers, only one sat long enough for a portrait.

Just around the corner, I found this thistle flower ...
I couldn't believe that the only bloom was a heart!

Join fellow flower lovers from around the world over at "Goodies For a Pleasant Life", and submit your flower for Tina's Weekend Flowers on Friday!

Your heart seeking powers are incredible Cea. I have a heart for you I was going to put it on Guest Heart Thursday but I couldn't get the hook up to work...anyway it's on my Whymsey blog about half the way down the page it is called Sand and Water...It is the beach and a heart...what more could your ask for.
I hope everything is going well for my sweet sisters...this has been a weird year I think everyone has retreated to their shells. Take care of you...love you.
