River Rocks Again

Yesterday in the early morning I had the chance to stop by the Molalla River at Knights Bridge and wander for a few minutes along the rocky shore. I've never been able to pass up a "pretty rock", so I soon had a pocket full of agates, carnelian and other shiny stones.

When I got home I decided to take a picture of my finds. I was completely amazed when I turned over a particularly beautiful and shiny piece of carnelian to see the back, and found this heart worn onto the rough surface!

Can you believe that? I just couldn't believe it when Clytie showed it to me...and then she GAVE it to me. I will treasure that rock forever, Sissy--I'm going to make it into a necklace.

When I saw it first, the sight of that perfect heart filled my eyes to the max.

Not only do I love that you are so wonderfully
creative in the way you look for hearts but I love even more than that how beautifully you share them
